The box says you can use a metal or a glass pan, but if using an 8x8 inch pan, glass is not recommended. It doesn't say WHY it is not recommended, and that's a pet peeve of mine. What am I, a robot who will mindlessly follow instructions without knowing the reason behind them?

I love to bake brownies with my 8x8 glass pan in my toaster oven, and they seem to come out fine.

I have a recipe that calls for a teaspoon of tomato paste. I don't have an opportunity to cook that often, therefore, I don't want to waste a whole can of tomato paste just for this one recipe. Could there possibly be an alternative so I don't waste the can of tomato paste?

Hello. I am looking for some websites or online groups or site forums (that sort of thing) that have recipes for entrees / appetizers / whatever that are at well-known restuarants. "I love the Misoyaki Butterfish at Roy's. I gotta find the recipe for it." - that kind of thing. Some places sell cookbooks for truckloads of money - but I'm never looking for the whole menu - I only want 1 thing. I know there are sites that have this info. I am coming to you to find out what recommendations you have for the best sites you know of. Help !
