i find this so annoying that i have to remove the tails from shrimp meals. leaving the tails on dont add to the flavor or the visual appeal of the meal.

I am looking for eggplant, squash, and sweet potato recipes that I can fix for my kids that they will eat. I do not want recipes high in sugar like candied yams or things like that. Any good ones would be appreciated!!!!

I did this recipe for a bar cookie which I have done many times before, it usually comes out moist and crumbly, but this time it was dense and dry. I had to double the recipe to make two batches could this have caused the change?

hi i'm an international student from europe and i attend the university in minnesota now.
i love pizza and i make home made pizza at home a lot.
when i got here i went to cub foods and raibow foods and looked for pizza sauce but there's only canned sauce there.
can is no good cuz it only lasts for less than 5 days once you open it.
where can i buy a good pizza sauce in the us?

my oven just went out and it will be awhile before i can get a new one. i am looking for ways to make a cake on the stove top or in the microwave. any other 'baking' for now hints would help too.

im looking at grills and i think i have setteled on the one i want. it seems to my simple mind that cast iron burners would last longer than the stainless type. especially since i have replaced the stainless burners on my present grill 2 times in 6 years (i grill alot). any help out there?

ingrediants:
1.) Chopped spinach
2.)Meat or seasonal sauce( pasta sause)
3.)Flour
4.) Meat
5.) pizza dough (make into calzone look)
6.) cheese optional

Intructions:

1.)Chopped spinach boiled for 10- 15 minutes
2.)Drain it
3.)cook chopmeat for till it turns brown
4.) mix with spinach (meat and spinach)
5.) then mix with pasta sauce
6.) make calzone shaped dough with flour on it
7.)then the mixxed stuff into the dough and press it tight around the edges.
8.) get a cookie sheet and put pam oil spray
9.) put the dough with stuff in it on the sheet and cook it until both sides turn brown not to brown though.
10.) let it cool down for 5-10 minutes and enjoy while you have them

People,people...oh my goodness...hot dogs and burgers
does not = barbeque !
I got invited to what was supposed to be a barbeque and IT WAS NOT !
another thing,it's not BBQ it's BARBEQUE...
have some respect for country style pork ribs or brisket...
do you people outside of (THE GREAT STATE OF TEXAS)
consider "GRILLIN" as barbeque???

That wacky Alton Brown always measures by weight, and I don't have any scales to measure stuff that way. If it makes more sense to use tablespoons or whatnot, that'd be fine too.
