A gentleman in front of me once ordered eight shots of espresso to go! I had to watch him as he left...he was an airline pilot and I wanted to make sure he wasn't heading to the same gate that my flight was scheduled for!

Honey in was much, much more chewier and did not raise as much as the first one.

Why?

Did the honey impede the yeast from rising or what?

The same flours and proportions were used in both recepies and the only difference was basically the Honey.

I will not have people every 10 days to share the starter with. So, would like to maintain a much smaller amount so I could bake a loaf and continue one starter.

A new study of 28,000-year-old human bones suggests the ancient man ate meat - lots of it, and very little else.

"Their diet was about 90 percent meat," said a scientist in England. A lifestyle so centered on meat means that the early man was able to organize complex hunts that brought down big and dangerous game.

The researchers probed the diet of early man by measuring the isotopic ratios of nitrogen in skulls and jawbones recovered from a cave in Croatia.

"Our bones record the isotope signatures of the foods we have eaten in our lifetimes," another scientist said in a statement. "By measuring these isotope signatures in fossil bones, we can reconstruct aspects of the diets."

Bones formed from a diet rich in meat contain a high ratio of an isotope called nitrogen-15, Trinkaus said. The nitrogen-15 ratio of Neanderthal, he said, was almost like that of an African lion, which means a diet of meat and almost nothing else.

Hello everyone,

I'm interested in making a tiramisu cake for my 21st birthday, and I believe that all will go according to plan (as long as I have my mind made up as to which tiramisu cake to make).

So, I'm a 20 year old male looking to bake my first tiramisu cake, and so long as everything, all the ingredients, is there, I should have no trouble baking my first cake. However, the rub lies therein! Which tiramisu cake should I bake?

Familiar with allrecipes.com? Use the search engine to find tiramisu cake, there you'll find: Classic tiramisu cake, tiramisu cheesecake, tiramisu layer cake (an allrecipes cookbook recipe), and tiramisu II.

Which of these would go best with a meaty cheese pizza (homemade as well), red wine and a few hor deuvres(sp?)? Which one has the most distinguishable taste, flavor, appearance, etc?

All suggestions are welcome including those who have not made a tiramisu cake, are not familiar with allrecipes.com, etc.

Thank you,

Av
