I have a bag of hershey kisses from december 2006 but it does not have an expiration date. Is it still safe to eat?

Normally 6 months are ideal time. If kept under proper refrigeration/temperature.

chocolate doesn't expire that fast. if it isn't stored properly, it can develop a "bloom"... that is when you see a greyish film over it... that is safe too, it just means that some of the cocoa butter (fat) has come to the surface from changes in temperature. It might not look pretty but it is yummy....

Depends what else is available to eat. But I'd say about December 3006, if you're a true chocolate lover, you'd probably be safe with that. :-)

good lord chocolate never lasts that long in my house. Open one and if it looks uniform in color, not white splotches etc. than open it up (cut it) and if the inside is the same color as the outside and uniform in color no white splotches etc. than it is safe to eat

I believe the saying goes "a moment on the lips, a lifetime on the hips", lol

But you should be okay unless the color has changed...
