What i am looking for:

need to have lowfat food as my dad got heart problems. Doctor say must not have fatty or too sugary food.

and ambience must be good, cos it is my dad's birthday

and cannot be too expensive, less than $40 per person on weekend. About 10 people attending, so good if it is about $25 to $40.

thanks guys!

I bought a can of fake coffee at the health food store. It is called teeccini. You put it in your coffee maker like ground coffee. I really love it. It is made from roasted chicory and barley. But I don't feel totally comfortable drinking it because I wonder if I am getting a lot of carcinogenes because the grains are roasted so dark brown. Am I being ridiculous?

and it tasted good, and you haven't regretted trying it out..and you still enjoy it?

For me, personally, I have read about pistachio's in a teen book called "The Pistachio Prescription",I love pistachio's to this day! LOL! also, certain pastry's with coffee ,cream and sugar(nowadays I don't eat any pastries...or a ton of sugar..as I am a diabetic!) but, this was back then....also, certain types of salads, and or casseroles, and sea foods...I love lobster..and I am starting to reenjoy Crab meat..again!Aldo, I saw a movie with Hopi Fry bread...tried it out...was a bit too greasy, but, I enjoyed it, alot!,and also Chai Tea..which is one of my most fav's...I drink this all of the time!!!
also some cultural foods as well..they just sound so delish, I 've gotta try them out! What can I say!! LOL !!! What about you all?

I know I am in the wrong section here but I asked this question a while ago in the beauty section and was amazed at how few people know what being vegan means!
My friend is vegan and a vet which means she has to scrub up several times a day and her hands are really suffering as a result. Can you please recommend a good, deeply moisturising hand cream? Many thanks

Trying to order a taco "with beans instead of meat, please" last night, I got a pile of BS from the three kids working there.

"We don't do that."

I wondered how I'd been managing to eat bean Taco Bell tacos for years.

"Well, we're not allowed to. The beans burn our hands."

Given the lukewarm temperature of Taco Bell beans, that was pretty risible (and what are you doing pawing at my beans, anyway? And is the meat cold or something?), but I did not want to play Grumpy Grown-Up and argue with three teen-agers making crap wages, especially not ten minutes before they closed. (There never seems to be anybody much over 16 in Taco Bells here.)

In the US I ran into a few TBs where a bean taco posed a bit of a mystery, but (1) that was a few years ago, and (2) they still managed to do it. This was in Canada; the Taco Bell Canada site says --

...well, anyway. This isn't the death knell for Taco Bell for veggies, is it?

Out of the thousands of different kinds of mushrooms, there are only a handfull that don't either poison you or make you see smurfs doing cartwheels. So how many people did it take to test each one and find the safe ones, and why didn't they give up on mushrooms all together once like ten or so people got sick from trying bad ones. These are the kinds of questions that keep me up at night.
