If you want a real treat, don't cook. Order in chicken wings, fries, onion rings, & veggies with dip.
And drink beer! I reccommend just about any beer from the Quebec microbreweries: Belle Guele, Cheval Blanc, Ephemere, they're all fantastic.

Steak is always a treat. Try a nice piece of sirloin with onion gravy, mashed potato, broccolli, grilled mushrooms and tomatoes.

to compliment it try a nice Chilian red.

I don't know what a treat is for you but for me a treat would be :
pizza with spinach, salami, capsicum, mushrooms, olives, extra garlic and extra cheese as topping.
with garlic bread and a green salad
washed down with a cold and crispy chardonnay
then a tiramisu for dessert :))
