My wife and I invited my boss over for a Sunday dinner. It will be just us four. He's from Spain, so I want to make him something "American", but I don't want to grill. I have a very good relationship with him. He said he is going to bring Spanish wine and a Spanish dish called Tortilla, which is made out of eggs and onions (it's like a quiche).

I was eating potato chips tonight and dipping them in apple cider vinegar, which isn't weird or gross, but it got me thinking. Are there any gross/weird food combinations that you love? I like the Wendys frostys with a side of fries to dip in it. I'm sure there are other fave combos that I have, but what are yours?

I am hosting an ice cream sundae bar for my Son's b-day. I have a favorite recipe for hot fuge sauce, and I will also have fruit. Any good and easy recipes for other ice cream toppings? Perhaps a marshmallow or caramel or chocolate mint, or anything unusual that's not too complicated?
Thanks!!

I am wanting to make a recipe that calls for heavy cream. When I went to 3 stores, all I could find is whipping cream. Is this the same? If not where the heck do I find plain old cream?
Thanks in advance for your help

Its not a big bitter taste its just a little bit bitter. I want to get rid of the bitterness all together. this is my recipie:

1 can of frozen juice from concentrate
1 pack of active dry yeast
4 cups of sugar

Put ingredients into a steril milk jug, fill the rest of the jug with filtered water. Put a balloon on milk jug and put in closet for 6 weeks (or until the balloon deflates) then put in bottle for at least 6 months. Drink after 6 months.
