If there were 2 versions of the same hummus brand, and one version had potassium sorbate and sodium benzoate artificial preservatives in it and it cost $2.99 for 1lb., how much more would you be willing to pay for a version of the same hummus that had no artificial preservatives in it?

Here are the choices:

a) I would pay $3.99 for the hummus with no preservatives.

b) I would pay $3.49 for the hummus with no preservatives.

c) I would buy the one that was least expensive.

[NOTE: I am doing a marketing research paper on ethnic foods, and I am trying to understand price elasticity in natural products versus ones with preservatives. Your answers and any feedback you care to give me would be greatly appreciated!]

I'm afraid I'm not getting enough calcium/Vitamin D in my diet, but I eat whole-wheat bread just about everyday for school sandwiches.

It is usually the middle cracker in the pack.Like the club crackers you buy in the box. When looking from the outside of the clear pack that they are in,the middle cracker is always dark brown! Why?I have wondered this for years. If no one knows the answer then I will e-mail cracker makers until I get a suitable answer! Thanks!
