No, not really a good idea to put something in your digestive system that is sharp and could cause bleeding somewhere down the line.

It's a bit hard to absorb calcium that way. The brand name supplement "Os Cal" is better, and even better still are the new orange juice drinks that are fortified with calcium. Your body needs the natural vitamin C in orange juice in order to be able to utilize calcium. Vitamin D is important in this process too, so you'll want to be sure your diet is well-balanced so that you'll get enough of that, too.

Other than the potential trauma that sharp, jagged eggshells might
pose to the digestive tract, they otherwise pose no toxic threat or have any vitamin benefits. It certainly isn’t wise to eat
eggs shells but the fact remains that they are not poisonous and they have no nutritional value.
