Bacteria grows rapidly in room temperature foods. The maximum time out of the oven or refrigerator that a food is considered safe to eat is 2 hours. After that point you are taking a chance that you will develop food poisoning. People take quite a few chances on foods. Food poisoning is worse than any virus you have ever had. People are usually hospitalized and put on IV's. Death can occur from food poisoning. 2 hours at room temperature, maximum.

No, definately not. It would be gross an ddried out for one and I'm sure there are a few health rules you'd be breaking by eating that old food.

No, do not it!! It been in room temp to long. Rice is between the ideal issues that could mack you sick if not appropriate stored. If not in a warmth or chilly sufficient place its can start up starting to be risks and volatile micro organism.

you can do it with pizzas and stuff, and long as something is covering it... one time i was eating a peice of pizza and in the middle of it i saw a big fly half buried in it.. I dont know if it was baked in (we ordered it) or if it dug its way down when we left if out for a few hours but it was GROSS... so.. its a yes and no, depending

some foods yes, others no, its best to put the pans in the fridge at least, even if you don't cover them, in Summer if flies or rats get into it, don't eat it
sometimes I like to leave blueberries or nuts around in small bowls
