I have been eating them sauteed with butter and lemon, and they are very nice, but a little boring. No deep frying, please, just something fresh to do with large scallops. Also if anyone has a recioe for escargots other than garlic butter and mushroom caps, I'd love to surprise my husband when he gets back next week!

I'm not a heavy drink...i hardly drink at all. (We're talking alcohol people). Well, i drink every now and then. This year in 2006 i have drank probably only about 4 times on different nights, with months in between. This past time i drank, it was at a friends party with close friends as we had a good time. This time however, was the first time I threw up. I could always hold my own but this night made me blow chunks. Most likely it was because i combined red wine, champange, vodka, tequila and a beer throughout the duration of the entire night. Well, after feel that way and waking up with a hangover (my first hangover ever)...i felt like i never wanted to drink again. I still feel that way. Anyways...

I was told that somehow your immune system strenghthens after this? Is there any truth to this? Somehow the person that told me made it seem that you can only get better after you drink alcohol.

Your thoughts please.

LIke I had fettucini carbonara the other day and they had some weird garnish, which sorta looked like baby spinach, but not, and there was heaps of it (almost enough to be a side salad), except it was on top of the mains. i had a taste and it tasted disgusting...

But generally, should the garnish be eaten or left on the plate?

My grandfather is having a stomach surgery soon.He has some stomach troubles and food doesnt hold to well with him.If he eats anything too heavy,it makes him ill and causes him great pain. His doctor recommended soups, although my grandfather despises canned soups(And i cannot blame him).We have made him potatoe soup and ran it through the blender. However,he is getting quite tired of that.If anyone has any healthy soup recipes that are also filling and can be ran through the blender for a smooth delicious soup,it would be greatly appreciated if you would share your ideas!!!Preferably without meats! Thank you in advance.

If the shelf life of a merlot is 8-10 years, then why do some people save wine for sometimes 30-50 years? Wont it go bad?

I posted a perfectly reasonable answer earlier as to why do carnivores have to post insults on the vegan/vegetarian questions section. I support anybody's choice on what they eat and I even have a few friends who refuse to eat meat or any animal byproduct. I found it ironic that with that question there were a lot of vegans/vegetarians that were insulting everybody not sharing their views. It seemed pretty hypocritical to me and nearly all but one or 2 people left only minor insults and didn't even leave a real legit, helpful answer. I'm not a carnivore and I'm not a vegetarian, i'm an omnivore, I eat a balnced diet of foods and as far as heart problems, i'm in the military, run about 5 miles a day 3x a week, and generally eat a balanced diet. I like my burgers but I really love Cauliflower and spinach and carrots too. So why ask a question and shoot insults right back at what it was about in the first place?

We would like to bake an apple cobbler in a dutch oven on an open fire pit. I did this years ago in the boy scouts but do not remember how to prepare it.

I don't have worcestire sauce and it seems a lot of recipes online call for that so don't give me a link to a recipe that has that as an ingredient! I would really prefer tried and true recipes! THANKS SO VERY MUCH!!

My mom just went down memory lane and remembered the famous 'Pizza Burgers' from elementary school and would die to find the recipe. So, being the wonderful son I am, I'm on a quest to get it. If you have the recipe, it would be greatly appreciated if you would give it to me. Thanks.
