My fiance's brother is getting married, and we have no idea what to get them! They are not registered anywhere. They have one baby, and another on the way, but I don't want to get the BABIES something. I want it to be practical, thoughtful, cool, unique and nice but not TOO expensive! Any ideas? Thanks!

I am having a wedding in September. My side of the family are Russians who listen to Russian music. My hubby's family are Italian, and listen to typical American music. Do you think I'm better off with a DJ or a band? How do I go about having someone play at my wedding who can play both variety of songs?

Just a few questions =)

1. Any suggestions on a style that is flattering on everyone? All of my girls are short (under 5'5), but their body types are different.

2. Any recommendations from where you got your dresses? Or where someone you know had a good experience?

3. If I am going with a strapless ball gown type dress, is there a certain strap or style of dress for my girls that would clash?

Thanks all!!

Help! I need ideas for my rehearsal dinner. It's only going to be about 11 people but I want it to be fun and cheap. At someone's house is a great idea, but won't work in my situation. Other thoughts?

My wedding ceremony is going to be outside. We have to walk down a long sidewalk to get to the gazebo. Do I bustle my train for the ceremony too, or could I have someone walk behind me to carry it? If so, who would I have do this, since my bridesmaids will obviously be walking ahead of me? Other ideas?

Last night I was at a club (ladies night) and saw my friends fiance there with another girl. I just kinda observed his actions from afar. After a while I saw him kiss this other girl (this was not a friendship type kiss...it was pretty passionate). I approached him and asked him who the girl was and what was going on. He told me that he had too much to drink and it was a mistake. He begged me not to tell his fiance. I told him that I will give him until the end of the day today to tell her himself (her and I play on the same volleyball league Friday nights) or I was going to tell her. I'm torn with this information. Should I just tell her now? Do I wait and see what happens once I get to volleyball tonight? Do I not say anything at all and hope it was just a one time mistake? I'm sure this isn't the first time he's done this....

my friend told me that you put the price per head in the wedding invite so people know what they have to give. they put it in the money bag at the wedding, in addition to buying a gift. i dont think this is something i want to do--solicit money from guests when they already bought gifts! Is this really customary or just people being greedy.

I'm getting married in a year and my fiance and I plan on paying for the best man and groomsman tux rentals and the dresses for the maid of honor, bridesmaid, and the two flowergirls.....Plus, the groomsman is the dad of both flower girls....so my question is...is it wrong to say that we will pay for all of this but we would like to keep the flowergirl dresses afterwards? (they are my fiance's nieces...just in case that makes a difference)

Ok yesterday was certified Valentine's Day for me and my significant other due to him having to work and me having evening classes. Ok we decide that we will exchange kisses and gifts the day after. The day after rolls around and i don't hear from him. I text humorously asking where my gifts are? I get no response. I let it go, until I can no longer sleep due to wondering where he is. So i text again at about 5am stating that i am mad. He responds by stating Hey, my father past away yesterday do u think I care if u are mad. Of course i apologize for the loss and for the spoiled/inconsiderate comments. I'm still upset that he didn't call me and make it known that he was going through something so personal. Had i have known, i would have never made those comments. He called earlier this morning when he got off from work, but I didn't answer the phone due to me feeling like an a**. Should I be mad and sympathetic or sympathetic and sorry?

Anyone know of any designers that have nice gowns with sleeves and train? I havent found a single one, and I am getting really discouraged. I know that you can get them put on gowns, but I think I would perfer something with sleeves from the start. My wedding is in September, and I am so frustrated. Everyone says that once you find your dress you will know it. I havent even liked anything enough yet. Thanks!

I have looked at their websites, but they do not show the prices of the wedding gowns. I would like to know an aproximate price range from these designers. Thanks!
