We are getting married in a very quiet ceremony, just us, the children and two witnesses. I would like to get each person something to remember the day by, can anyone give me any ideas? I'm thinking about something nice engraved with the date or something but struggling as to what. Thanks any ideas would be great.

I am thinking of doing a thank you basket for each person in my wedding party.

I am going to include: A framed picture of themselves either in their wedding outfit or perhaps in preparation. An Item of jewellery or a mirror or keyring. A voucher of some kind to either be pampered or for a day out. And a bottle of plonk.

I am going to do the baskets to my colour scheme and give them to each of them at the Rehearsal Dinner.

As you are only having a small party, you would really be able to go overboard with the baskets and include lots of goodies. All your hard work will let them know how much you appreciate them.

Hope this Helps.

Congratulations and Good Luck,

Since your wedding party is so intimate, you can get something really nice with both your names and the date engraved on it. There are a ton of online sites you can check out. To name a few:

www.theknot.com
www.brides.com
www.favors.com
www.orientaltrading.com

Congratulations on your upcoming marriage!

Here are some ideas - basic because you didn't say gender, age, interests, amount you want to spend:

- Crystal vase with engraving on bottom
- Printed golf balls
- Snow Globe with your picture
- Silver bracelet engraved
- Photo-etched pendant
- Write a poem in calligraphy on parchment and framed in a pretty gold victorian style.

Wine glasses are always nice. You can have a half a dozen made, one for both your guests, you and your DH, and for the kids to hold onto until they are older with you and your husband's names and the marriage date on them. You can even get them frosted. They look awesome frosted.
Also a candle holder, shot glasses, photo frames, or even a frosted mirror (I've seen it done and it looks awesome!)
Just my ideas. We went with the wine/champagne glasses and also had a small personal wedding. It turned out great!

A small engraved photo album would be nice, people display them. I recieved one for being in a wedding a while ago. Put your wedding picture in the first flap.

Try www.customweddingsolutions.com. They have great personalized gifts. I personally like the duffle bags for the kids cuz then you can put something special inside. I also like the idea of a pocket watch for my dad.

How about a bottle of champagne with your own homemade label on it? You can print out labels on the computer and put the date of your wedding on it. Just glue them on.

Something people will actually use and appreciate vs some kitschy gift that will get put aside and never looked at again.

Try Things Remembered. They have so many different products, you can chose something different for everyone. And, it's all engravable!

It really depends on what your kids like. Maby like a necklace or a ring for each kid. Or maby a little stuffed animal for each kid, but with the stuffed animals you could have something you want to remember in a sentence or saying sewed to a part of them.
Hopefully I helped,
