For example, they ask if they will raise the child to that religion, what if the atheist says no? Can the church refuse to marry?

Just curious

I'm on a tight bugdget. My fiance and I are getting married when I get out of college. (A few weeks later). He is in the Army so our income won't be that large. I want a small wedding with cheap flowers and cheap decor. Basically...I just want a happy day with having to goto the court house! HELP?

Help, I'm desprate. My oldest son will be getting married in April and honestly, I'm not the most formal person in the world. Any resources or experiences that anyone has had to help let me know. Most needed answers, what am I supposed to pay for, what is the proper attire, considering the bride's choice of colors, etc..
By the way his dad and I are divorced and no help financially from his father.

I have heard that flower girls should throw pennies and flowers at a wedding to signify someone who has passed away. Has anyone else heard of this?

I am thinking that I should probably not serve any alcohol at my reception because I and many of my guests have not reached the age of twenty-one. I don't want to open myself, my fiance, or my family up for a lawsuit. Would this be a disapointment to any of you?

Anyone have any ideas for a honeymoon? Something different, like a cabin with a county view. A lake would be nice too. I'm tired of the bahama's honeymoon ideas. I want something more laid back!!

I was thinking I would just do desserts at the wedding reception. Many cakes that my mom makes and then of course the traditional wedding cake. What would you think as a guest?

They have things listed on the cover to draw you in but you read through them and it's 800 pages of dress ads, not 800 pages of ideas that they tell you is inside.

Which magazine has the least dress ads and most helpful info?

Also, which wedding site do you find the most helpful as far as interaction with other brides, etc?

I know they are incredibly popular at the Knot even though alot of people in real life have never seen them. Do you think they're worth the expense or not?

My girlfriend is getting married in Mexico and is have a lot of stuff shipped there ahead of time. The only problem is there is no way to ship the bouquets and no flower shop there. Plus Customs has a 450% mark up tax on anything that is shipped or made anywhere other than the U.S. Has anyone encountered this problem? Any Ideas I could give her?

Many people are trying to find a large sleigh-and-reindeer cake stand like the one on this page:
http://www.favorideas.com/wedding-themes/seasonal-themes/glorious-winter-favor-ideas/

No one seems to be able to track it down.

Obviously it would cost $$$ but I have no idea where to find it. It looks like something you'd buy from a floral supply shop, though. Any ideas?

Just wondering whether I should get expensive nicely engraved invitations from a printing company or buy the make it yourself ones and print them from a home computer. So do you keep the wedding invitations that people send or just trash them after the wedding? I could go either way and there will be about 300.
