Which magazine has the least dress ads and most helpful info?

Also, which wedding site do you find the most helpful as far as interaction with other brides, etc?

I liked The Knot but it does seem to cater heavily to wealthy, thin "upper class", white women. Most of the "real life" weddings they show examples of are these really thin model like looking brides with lavish weddings. I wish they had more real life examples. Other than that they have a lot of really pretty floral pictures and a good search area for dresses.

I feel www.theweddingchannel.com is the best web site -- though most will give you the same information. The weddingchannel web site has a free budget calculator that can help you stay really on track and to understand where your money should be allocated to.

Martha Stewart is the best wedding magazine. She is minimal wedding dress ads and lots of pictures from other people's weddings. She also has a great section in the back that includes what to register for, a wedding timeline, photography information, and music information.

I liked weddingchannel better than the knot for ideas and budget calculator/ guest list manager etc. I didn't have any luck on any site communicating w. other brides though.
My favorite wedding magazine was Martha Stewart Weddings b/c of all the step by step instructions it gives to recreate the looks you see in the magazine.
Hope this helps!
