Nothing!!! They just really don't get as excited as the planning as we do!! Believe it or not, when guys ask girls to marry them, they are generally more excited to be marrying the girls they love then planning the wedding!! Plus, I know in my case, my husband knew this was something I had been planning for a long time, so he wanted it to be my thing. He didn't care about the flowers I chose or the centerpieces we used. He cared more about the people we invited and the location. Small details just don't matter to them!! And I guarantee most of the questions girls ask on here about weddings are about the little details!!

They never ask questions about weddings because if they are getting married, their fiance's are the ones handling everything and making all of the arrangements. Otherwise, if he wasn't engaged, then why even think about a wedding. Same for women.

I have a very loving Fiance. I know he loves me and wants to be with me for the rest of his life and I also know that he could care less if we get married in front of a judge or in front of the water. This doesn't bother him because in the end he just wants to be with me. I am planning our whole wedding because I want it to go exactly the way I want. In the end he just wants to be with me. I am not bothered by men not asking questions about their wedding.

Please do not generalize. Other than the wedding dress I helped my wife with everything in the wedding including our centerpieces which I come up with.

It sounds like your man doesn't care about the wedding details enough. It's not uncommon but its a shame because it was one of the best times together going through all that stuff.

My fiance is very much involved....there are somethings he doesn't care about one way or the other (flowers, bridesmaids dresses) but he has helped with finding the caterer, reception hall, DJ, honeymoon, registry. He doesn't get involved in the other things because he knows I will take care of them and that if I need him for any reason, he will jump right in.

I think that is normal, guys typically just want to be married to the one they love when they propose, they don't care much about how they get there. My fiance said "I don't care about the wedding I just want to be married to you, just tell me when and where to be and I'll be there". He is helping with some of the planning but guys typically don't get involved much. They just want to marry their future wife and have a party with their friends and family - pure and simple.

Guys are smart... They don't want to be concerned with such inane things as whether lavender in the bridesmaids dresses matches the teal of the tablecloth. I'm with them on that.

My fiance is involved in everything....HE has the countdown in his head, HE picked the flowers, HE picked the location. We don't ask questions, we discuss what we feel. To quote your profile:

"You shouldn't make public comments on things you are ignorant about...it makes you look ignorant."

...in other words, don't generalize

It's not on their minds or they have their fiance, sister or mother taking care of the questions for them.
