My future mother in law is insisting on either matching the bridal party colors or my mother's color of dress that she is wearing. I wasn't sure if this was some old tradition years ago.

Ok. i will be having my wedding in about 7 months. We are having it on this HUGE sandbar by a beautiful spot on the river...yes my fiancee is a little bit of a country bumpkin....i want to have it around sunset so that i can have candles line the walkway where we will come down...There is a camo wedding dress that is very cute and my fiancee loves it....would that be appropriate...i think that it would fit really well,....except how would i match bridesmaid dresses so that it looks outdoorsy...yet "cutesy" at the same time?

I'm a guy who's cursed with being quite emotional. I get choked and tearful even watching sad films/programmes.

I'm getting married next year and don't want to be a blubbering mess during the vows.

While I don't want to be completly un-emotional at our wedding, I'm after some ideas on how I can overcome this? Is there any medication I can take?

I am getting married 07/07/07 and want to lose roughly 20 pounds. I am eating healthier and walking daily, but I was wondering if anyone has any tips to drop some weight. Please be specific as in a certain diet, or diet pill that helped you lose weight. I prefer one where I dont have to pay to be a member, but if it worked for you really well I would love to know. Thanks so much

I would like to get some ideas for games to be played at my wedding. I think it is much more entertaining for guests if they can participate in games or watch the Bride & Groom get embarrassed!! Any suggestions?

Ladies, what would you do? I am open to all suggestions. At my age, 40 something, I have zero family members, young or old, except my 3 children, and no friends who live close enough to attend a wedding. I did not have a wedding with my first husband and would really like to do "something" this time around that is worth taking some photos of! He has family and friends to invite, l literally have 3 people to send an invite to and I already know 2 of those won't come the distance. He would like a ceremony, too.

If we do a traditional church wedding there will be 100 people on the groom's pews and probably 2 on mine... ugh! Is there a way around this? Different setting, venue layout, I'm willing to listen.
Thanks ahead for any advice, I want to enjoy the day not have it rubbed in my face there is no one there who even knows me.
ps- My 3 children would be the two bridemaids and an usher, that is my total contribution to the wedding "party".

This is my second wedding. My finance has not had a wedding. The ceremony is planned for family & best friends only (about 70 people) at 4:30 pm. The reception is 8:00pm til midnight (150 guests) including some hors d'oeuvres, cake and an excellent band. On a budget with only a reminder invitation being mailed. Are we crazy or wil this work? I had the huge extravagant wedding the first time, just picked the wrong man.

I am getting maried next year to the love of my life. I am very excited and ready for it to get here. But I have a very quick temper. I am not mean and I would never hurt her, but I would like to fix this before we get married so that I will never verbally hurt her. She is aware that I am quick tempered. I want to change it so that I don't get so mad without thinking things through at 1st.
Any ideas on a good book would be very helpful. Thank you.
