Weddings - October 2006

For those that do not know, a Bridezilla is a bride to be who focuses so much on the event that she becomes difficult and obnoxious. I watch the show on WE, and though it does not apply to me (I had a small wedding and I'm not into the fuss of a wedding), I find it funny. If you were not one, do you know a Bridezilla? What happened?

I know this is slightly off topic but my fiance and I have decided to give up smoking so we have more money for the wedding and also so we're not both dead by the time were 40.
we both smoke 15-20 a day and have done so for half our lives. has anyone succesfully quit? how did you do it? we do really want to stop but im not sure if my will-power alone is enough.
we know tensions are going to be running really high in the flat until the cravings subside but i dont want us to kill each other!

My fiancée wants to have 3-4 grooms men, i don't have 4 really close friends though, one of his friends is with a lovely girl whom i get along with great would it be silly to have her so they could be partners?

I have to closer friends that i have been friends with for years and i feel like the last year we have drifted apart, i know they are expecting to be asked but i don't want to, am i fair or do you think i need to do it out if respect?
I have been engaged for 6 months and after all this time i still feel this way about it!

I'm getting married early December. I have my family's side of the guest list, and I THINK I have my fiance's side. His mom gave me a list of names and addresses, and although I've asked her if she's forgotten anyone and she's said no, she forgot her mother-in-law (who is really close with my fiance). I don't know his family that well, and I'm afraid I'll forget someone. If I do, and they approach us after the wedding (like at a Christmas party or something), how do I explain that it wasn't intentional? I don't want to blame my future mother-in-law by saying "Well I guess she just forgot to give us your name", but I don't want to seem like we just didn'tw ant to include them.

I want to have my 7 year old nephew read a small passage at our wedding. Hes a pretty good reader, but I want to make it short and sweet. As morbid as it may sound has anyone ever gotten married in a cemetary or know someone that has? To make a long story short my fiance proposed to me in front of the mausoleum at the local cemetery. It's a really pretty peaceful place and I'm just wondering if I would have to pay a fee or something if I was to be married there. Any comments welcome! Thanks!
