Some guys don't wear their rings simply because they do not like to wear rings. I have a few friends that are very anti-jewelry and refuse to wear rings. On the other hand (no pun intended), I've also known a friend that didn't wear his because he did not want anyone to know he was married. He thoroughly enjoyed the attention from the opposite sex.
Depending on the person will dictate the motivation. It could be very innocent, or very dishonest.

I take my ring off when I'm working. I work with a lot of electronic circuit boards, and I don't want to short the ring against a live circuit board and damage the ring, my hand, or the circuit board. Otherwise it's on all the time.

Actually, it makes you more interesting to wear the wedding band. Girls like to talk to you when they don't feel stalked and it's a fair game from the start. So I definitely recommend wearing your wedding band. Also, I think it shows respect for your wife.

Aren't you narrowing it down too far. Not all "guys" take off their rings. If they do..shame on them cause that ring is a symbol. If you are truly married in spirit and soul, that ring would not be a problem.
