Anyone have any good sites on where I may fnd some not low budget looking black gowns that are medevil type? I would be most gracious if you could.

I'd suggest you have the dress made, personally. There are alot of patterns out there for halloween costumes that would fit what you're looking for perfectly (rennaissance costumes, etc). You can buy black satin, lace and silk from places like ebay. Then have it made.

The seemstress can change the dress and even put two different patterns together to make your own look. All of these patterns can be bought at wal-mart for a few dollars.

I wouldn't recommend buying them out of any catalog online or anything. If you're going goth, those dresses always look so cheesy. But a black silk dress the style that Madelein wore in Interview With The Vampire (she wore it in green though) would be absolutely beautiful. Make sure that you click ON the pictures because the expanded picture will usually show at least one version of the dress. Simplicity even has a version of the final dress Keira Knightly wore in the final scene of Pirates of the Caribbean. And copies of the dresses Christine wore in Phantom of the Opera.

Ignore the saddos ho say you kneed serious help im a goth and i no thats something to be proud of not ashamed of write well any way you could always try looking at bridal wear on google i exspect their will be something what colour you looking for like to hear more
