I am having a masquerade themed wedding with lots of masks, feathers and candles. I am going to play classical music to keep with the theme, do you think this is cool or corny?

I think that it is pretty cool....have you ever seen Ever After....if not they have those kinds of things and everyone looks so beautiful. It's your wedding and nobody and stop you!! It's your day!! Good luck!!

Themed weddings are fun. I am doing a Cinderella Theme. Have fun with it. This is your day. Do it your way. This will be something you will always remember. It doesn't matter what others think but what you want and will enjoy and remember, maybe even cherish. Sound like loads of fun. GO FOR IT! Best Wishes on your Happily Ever After-Congrats!

I think it sounds interesting, I only hope your guests are smarter and more cooperative than mine were. I had guest boutineers, and most of those were not even worn. I would just make sure you have someone you trust to stand by the door or guest book and provide your guests with the masks, be sure they understand the theme.

Not something I'd want for my own wedding, but that's just it....it is YOUR wedding. On the other hand, I think it would be cool to attend being that it is something very different from the traditional ceremony. Enjoy and don't worry about what others think!

I think that turning a wedding into a "theme party" is neither cool nor corny! I think it is downright stupid!

A wedding is the joining of two people in holy matrimony and most times a reception celebration follows.
Have fun with the decorations and celebration activities but the focus should be on the people in the wedding party.

it sounds very grand, and I think it sounds wonderful, my only reservation is the classical music, I would mix in some more "normal" music as well, so people can dance a bit. Classical is very classy, but some people may get a little bored with it.

I love this idea. At some point in the evening, have a time where everyone gets to remove their mask and see the other guests.

sounds totally cool, but play some other kind of music too :-) and watch out for starting a fire with all those feathers and candles!

I LOVE themed weddings!

Guests seem to be entertained MORE and LOVE the excitement of it all.

Here is a GREAT site to help with the extras to keep with your theme...

Sounds like fun. Will the guests be dancing baroque style as in a line formation? Will these guests know how to dance like that? It'll be cool if they know.
