I found this book. Anger Busters 101. Hope it helps. However, I think you're on the right track. You already admit you don't think about why you're angry, you just lash out. I've found that anger stems from circumstances or situations that you can't control. These are every day happenings and you CAN learn to accept what you can't change. It really makes a big difference. If someone doesn't like the same foods, songs, pets, cars, etc, that you do, just accept that they're different than you and go on. You'll find a lot of interesting folks when you learn what makes them tick. Also, learn to listen without interrupting....bet you didn't think of that one. Can stop a lot of arguments.

I highly admire that you are willing to address this.
One might be, The Dance of Anger". But all the books you read does not take the place of a counselor. What you read will then start to make more sense. You should be able to find free or very inexpensive agencies in your community that will help. Just make a few calls.
There is a reason you have a short fuse; something that causes you to have a hair trigger. Genetics, upbringing, possible abuse. It's good you learn to control your temper, for the safety of your future wife, children and yourself.
Much luck to you.

This is the best gift that you can give yourself and your fiancee.
Look for anger management sessions in your area. Look in your phone book under counseling and find one that deals with anger management. Good Luck....

I suggest reading the Constitution - the 2nd Amendment doesn't give you the right to own a gun.
