Hello, I'm a junior in college (21 years old) and have been dating my girlfriend for just about 4 years now. It's pretty much a given that we'll eventually get married but it just seems like it couldn't work for so long.

I'm a pre-med major looking towards getting my masters as a Physician's Assistant (with aspirations of one day having the money time and experience to get into a good med school) so I'm really going to be living off mom and dad (and loans) for a long time to come.

What do you all think about when I can get married? How do people get married right out of college before they get economic stability? I can't imagine getting married and still relying heavily on my parents... and I dont think that I could work enough while a full time grad student to support it.

Crazy question I know, just asking for your two cents =D

my beautiful fiance and i have been wanting to 'tie the knot' for some time now, but finances always seem to put it on hold. (second marriage for both of us) we have 4 children at home 2 mine, one his, and one 'ours',
orginally i wanted a 'vintage' wedding but now i think it's more important to both of us to get married, but i want it to be so special for us and our close family and friends. i don't really want to go for the 'registry' office marriage, so anyone with some great inspiring ideas that don't cost the earth would be greatly appreciated.thanks

His family and mine are coming in...I am happy, excited, anxious, xanaxious all at the same time...Just wondering if anyone has experienced the same feelings the week before?

Think about it. Think about it long and hard. How much do you really love them? Enough to work it out? After all, this is the person you just vowed to spend the rest of your life with, isn't it? Would this change everything between you? (BE HONNEST! don't just say what makes you sound good, say how you would REALLY feel. The only person you're lying to is yourself if you don't. AND NO "that could never happen to us!! how dare you?!?! I hate you for implying that about him/her!!" it's just HYPOTHETICAL, just a 'what if', it doesn't change reality, just make you think about your own values. Chill. Have fun.)

I might find my "prince charming" in the future but I would love a fairytale wedding for only five grand. Can I do it? And, if you had a low buget wedding that looks like $30,000 or more but cost about $5,000 what is your story and what are the tips?

My co workers held a bridal shower for me the other day. I was mixed between inviting them or not but we are also a very small department so everyone knows all about the wedding. I'm feeling obligated to invite them but should I send each a formal invite or just do like a sign up sheet? My budget will allow for inviting them but I don't know how.
