Gather up pictures of them (and the rest of the family) from the time they met until now and have a video photo montage created... a DVD-based slideshow set to music that you can show at an anniversary party and then they can enjoy on DVD again and again. Check out Big Moment Films:
http://www.bigmomentfilms.com
At Big Moment, these start at about $300, which is about the going rate for a good quality customized one. What I like about Big Moment is that instead of a cheap-looking DVD with an inkjet-printed label, they give you a laser-etched DVD (two copies, actually) in gift packaging. It'll be a hit at the party (what a great way to surprise them!) and they'll enjoy it for a long, long time.

A silver picture frame. Put a meaningful picture in it. Either a picture of their children (current or a very old one) OR a an old picture of your parents (like their wedding picture). If you don't like either of these ideas for pictures, get them the frame and a gift certificate to a photo studio. That way your parents can decide on the pic. They may want the whole family in the picture.
Good luck. I hope this helped.

Well i got my parents this present. Its a mirror and it has thier names and date of marriage on it. It also has a picture of a couple in love. Its practical and something they can hang up for everyone to enjoy. Its very pretty and it looks like it was etched with white paint or something but its very beautiful.

If you can afford it, why not get them a cruise package to somewhere?? Or even maybe just a weekend get-away? Both would be very nice presents for them. Go by what they both like, and you will be fine.

For my parents 25th I got them a nice set of bedsheets (everyone can use that and its always appreciated) and I had a smaller reproduction of their wedding cake made and delivered to the restaurant where they went out to eat that night.

Send them on a mini cruise or a weekend getaway...Traveling seems to be what they both like to do.
