I've been married twice, and I chose Daddy's Hands both times. It's a beautiful song and sure to bring a tear to every ones eye.
I honestly don't remember who sang it, But it's a female singer. You can get on bear share(if you have it) and search by the title, you should be able to find it.
Butterfly kisses is good also, but, listen to all of them first and sit down with your dad and choose which better fits your relationship.
good luck and congrats!!!!!!!!

Why does this part of the cermony always have to be so mushy?
It is sooooooooo predictable. and sad. You never lose a daughter. As I sit here trying to think of something uplifting with a good beat to dance to ....all that comes to mind is Dean Martin singing "Tiny Bubbles." I can just picture a bride and her dad smiling and enjoying a smooth dance to a great song that to me expresses a life spent in light, happy, airy, fun days and will continue on that way. Ask you father what he thinks.
Best Wishes...

the best song for a father daughter dance is "Butterfly kisses" by Bob Carlisle. You can search for other song options at this great wedding song website: http://www.ourweddingsongs.com

My Girl
or
Unforgettable (the Nat King Cole/Natalie Cole duet version)
Or if your Dad has a favorite song, use that. No reason to be traditional.
P.S., Don't you think "Butterfly Kisses" is just a bit hokey? I think the guy wrote it just to be used in father/daughter dances. And it really doesn't have a great beat to dance to.... in my humble and non-musical opinion, that is!
