Carnations are pretty and they last so well. Roses are nice but they can look so droopy so quickly. Carnations stay nice so long and come in so many colors. I think this will be great. Best wishes on your wedding.

I've used silk carnations in arrangements & bouquets when I did wedding flowers. They aren't quite as popular as they once were. But they make a stunning addition to an arch, those or especially mums....like snowballs.
And I had blue ones arranged on the muff I carried as I had a velvet dress trimmed in fur for my winter wedding.

Carnations are a popular flower for lower-budget weddings. Its a flower that can be used in larger quanities and looks pretty too.

My bridesmaids carried them in really tight bouquets of different shades of red. They were really pretty and you couldn't even tell they were carnations.

My 1st wedding was red roses and white carns. They are a less costly flower and every florist has them, anytime of year. They last a long time and don't lose their pedals. They don't smell bad either.

I had them in my bouquet, as well as in some corsages and boutonnieres. They stay well, and some smell great.
