My boyfriend is really rude to me sometimes. Recently, for example, we were talking about this really cool animal store in the area, which he has never been to, and we agree we'd go there sometime together, since we shared a common interest in reptiles. When we made plans to go on our day off, he said he was visiting with his brother and wasn't sure when he'd be leaving, so I shrugged it off. Well today, we talked on and off, and I just called him about 30min ago, just to see what he was up to (besides hanging out at his brother place this entire weekend) and he said..."oh I'm going to the ***store I mentioned** with my brother.....did you want to come?" This pissed me off so bad! It's like mentioning a restaurant you really like and then that person taking someone else. Wasn't that rude? Also, i've noticed that my b/f tries to always make fun of me in front of friends. When ever we're around others he'll make really rude/humiliating/just plain mean

I am a 41 yr old female. I started dating when I was 14 and have had countless relationships. Several months ago, I started dating a man that I had little interest in. I thought "hey, it's something to do". He turned out to be the most wonderful man I have ever known and made me so very happy. We fell deeply in love. Well he is having guilt issues about his daughter - he feels he is betraying her by being with me and also just told me that he is not emotionally capable of being with me now. I've gotten over many many breakups in the past, but I know I've just said goodbye to the the greatest love of my lifetime. Can anyone help me with ideas on how the ease the pain?

My boyfriend and I were out last night and his mom calls. Since I was in the car I heard the whole convo. She's never met me but hates that her son is dating me because of where I'm from. She also found out Im not very religious like she is and now seems to hate me even more. Its very upsetting to me because I'm a very nice girl. Im what most would call the "good girl" I never get into trouble, I dont drink, do drugs or party. Im very nice, sweet and poliet. But she told my boyfriend that he's changing and Im a bad influence on him. I hate being judged for things I can't really control. I dont think it's fair to judge me when they dont know much about me at all. He tells me not to worry about it and she gets like this with almost every girl he dates. But it still bothers me. He is very close with his family and I feel horrible that I'm the reason why they are fighting. BUt i dont want to stop seeing him and talkingto him. We get along great and have a great time together.

I dated my bf for 4 yrs in highschool & we broke up. Six yrs went by and we both changed and ended up back together. We have been 2gether about 2 and a haf years.I am 25 and he is 26.I live on my own and he lives at his parents house because he is trying to save money.A yr ago his cousin had been married very briefy & then divorced.When he got divorced, he moved in w/my boyfriend.Ever since, we dont really hang out as much.His cousin and him stay up drinking and hanging out.I dont sleep over much anymore bcuz him and his cousin share a room.Its like he always wanted to be here b4 & now he always wants to be home.Example, we hung out with his cousin Friday.Saturday he came to hang out with me. Sunday I ask him if he wants 2 go 2 the diner. He says no & then his cousin calls him like lets go out to eat. He jumps up and goes.This is at 3pm & says oh, I'll bring you back food. Then at 7pm he calls me and says I feel like staying home now bcuz I have work early tomorrow.Would u b mad?

i'm really close to talking to this guy tomorrow who i think is really cool and want to be friends with.

would you be weirded out if a girl came up to you and said, "hi" or "hey what's up?"

people have been telling me to say either of those things but for some reason i have this feeling the guy would get weirded out.

So my boyfriend of 10months has been going to a college for 3 weeks now. He comes home every Friday night and leaves every Sunday night. We talk on the phone for an hour Monday thru Thursday. It seems like the perfect arrangement, but my heart tells me otherwise. Everybody I have ever cared about has always been there at my disposal, which is why I’m having the hardest time dealing with him being away even if it 4 days.
I hate Sundays only because it means I have to endure the pain of him leaving me to go back to college. I’m a VERY emotional person, and being away from him is effecting my health, I always feel so sick and nauseated and because I’m nauseated all the time I never want to eat. I’ve never known this pain before, like its unnatural to be away from your soul mate even for a short period of time. I believe he is my soul mate because I’ve never meet a guy who loved and treated me so well, and puts me first in his life (even in head of his buddies).
I’ve told him about unhappy I have been but he tells me to just transfer to his school and I’ll be happy. If it was that simple I would., I’m a big family orientated person and being away from my family would be just as hard. I don’t understand why he doesn’t just transfer to a college closer to me. I would make me happier, as well as healthier and save him gas money.

Hey! I'm a boy who is 16 and I think that im bisexual. I have liked this boy for about 1 year now, i had him for class. in class he talked to me but just a little or when we wasnt being talked to. IN the hall ways he looks at me and gives me a look like " what are.. you..doing?" but when his with friends he totally ignore's me. He kind of acts gay, I mean when i message him on myspace on everything he says he types "lol" "haha" he seems to be laughin but in school he dosent. After two replies he stops talking to me. so i decided to make a myspace of a gay guy, i messaed him 3 weeks ago and we have been talking for all those weeks. I mean in the gay myspace we have talked more than what me and him talk or regular bases. I love this boy , i can honestly say that, but what should I do bcause i dont want to get judge by him or by his friends, I dont want to get laughed at an ignored and in no time people will now im bi. Last year I found out I can NEVER get pregnet. To me that was good because I never planned on having a kid. Well ever since then I've loosened up and now I have sex all the time. It'll be with random people too. Sometimes I'll go to a party and have it with some guy in the upstairs bedroom. Once I did it with my substitute teacher. I've even slept with my best friend's boyfriend. I can't stop and I'm not sure I want to. But I know this is really wrong. I'm 18 years old so nothing is illegal. okay, so i know a guy and he's 17 and like i really like him, and were good friends and stuff. he's mentioned things like "god why do i have to be so frickin old? cuz if i wasn't i'd totally date you" and stuff like that. we also joke about sex and grabs each others butts and all. now is the law a 17 yr old can't date a minor, or is it that like he couldn't have sex with me? i want to know your opinion on this.

I've read all the reasons why women don't like needy men. They're insecure, they have low self-esteem, they need constant reassurance that you are attracted to them, etc. Well, why are these bad things? Do men HAVE to be "manly", "macho", etc? I think some men are more suited to have partners, and some men (like myself) would be better paired with a nurturer/caregiver, and that's OKAY. Yes yes I know, women want to nurture kids, but to take me for example, I am 34 and have absolutely no interest in ever having kids. So of the woman wants to nurture someone, she can nurture me instead.

Plus, needy guys are very loyal. They worship the women they are with, so there's virtually no chance of him ever cheating. They're safe, generally are homebodies, preferring to stay home and watch tv or play video games or just fool around with his woman, so no worries of him coming home drunk and hitting her or anything.

And to those who say a woman can't make me feel good about myself..

He doesn't know how to talk to me anymore. We always had good communication and now he is just mean. He yells at me for the stupidest things. When he gets angry he throws things. I love him but the way he treats me sometimes really hurts. I tell him I will not take the way he talks to me but that just gets him even more mean. I don't understand what I could have done to deserve this. Even this afternoon, I took a bottle of soda from the cabinet to put in the refridgerator, he starts screaming at me telling me I am blind and stupid because I didn not see a bottle already there. He got nasty again when I finished vacuming a room, I moved the vacuum to the next room and he screamed when it was in his way. Are these reasons to treat someone so bad? We live together and it is making me very depressed. Is there a way to work it out?

like him and he's very outgoing and talks to alot of girls but he is always asking me stuff like why won't i pay more attention to him (jokingly.) He starts the conversation often and taught me how to do a handshake. Everytime we walk past each other he'll look at me and if I look back at him, he'll say something funny to me. Today during our break he came over by me and my friends and started playing basketball with us. And also today when he went to go get a soda he asked me if I would watch his food for him. He says we're tight and "buddies" and I told him he has too many buddies and he was like their just friends and I walked away and he jokingly said i was breaking his heart! My teacher asked me wut i was doin this wkend and I said being bored and he heard and told me that i have his permision to call him. He asked if I had his number and I said my bro does (he does). But I called him an hour ago and he hung up on me for no reason so i called back and he didnt answer.
