It comes down to the fact of how the adrenaline glands work, you know how adrenaline works right? Kidney's get a singal from the brain based on a stimuls, that influences the adrenaline glads to produce adrenaline. Do you know one of the MAIN things adrenaline influences? Thats right you smartie the heart! So when you get the rush feeling it usually starts in the heart as it increases its beats/per minute and causes all kinds of different sinsations in that region. So with attraction being such a BIG situmlas to us humans, it was only be a matter of time before we assciated the feelings of relationship with the feeling in our chest. Don't let that destory really the most powerful part of the body for a relationship, hence the brain..... but almost ALL cultures have found the "heart" to be a key focus when talking about emotional feelings and romance. Also because with out that rush, usually means feelings for that person as being an exciting, needed thing in our lives, is gone....
