My sister is 19 and her new boyfriend is 42. The same age as my father. I know it's legal but is it right? For some reason it bothers the hell out of me. Should i just let it go? I think it's way to old.

sure its awkward but does age matter when it comes to love, i don't think so. she is probably very mature and likes his maturity and intelligence. i think you should let it go but hey that is just me

I am inclined to agree it's much too old. What could a 42 year old man possibly have in common with a 19 year old girl? What could they talk about? It would worry me too...

that is your sister's decision ---- if she is happy why should you worry --- let her enjoy the time if its only the age that is concerning you and he treats her well ---- best wishes to them both
