i'm really close to talking to this guy tomorrow who i think is really cool and want to be friends with.

would you be weirded out if a girl came up to you and said, "hi" or "hey what's up?"

people have been telling me to say either of those things but for some reason i have this feeling the guy would get weirded out.

thanks for your help
:)

Honestly, life would be a lot easier if more girls would walk up to me and just say "hey, what's up?". There is no reason for something that non-threatening to weird him out.

Why would we be weirded out by that? In fact... I've had a girl do that to me in class and now we're friends too- of course we just met early on but who knows?

It's quite nice to say hi esp. if it's like in college since basically you're a "nobody" ... (I know that sounded harsh but it's true- nobody as in no one knows you)

don't just go up to him and say "hi"

have something in mind that you want to bring up, maybe if you like his backpack or cell phone or shirt or cologne you could be like "hi, i know this may sound weird but i just love your ____ and was wondering where you got it?" then start a conversation from that

hope that helps

not weirded out, just confused, maybe you should try a different approach doing that crap makes guys confused and not know what to do

Never any harm in something like that!

I'm a guy, & it has never bothered me!
