I'm currently writing a story about a young woman who goes away 2 college & gets caught up in a whole bunch of crazy events, including a 4bidden romance. My story's heroine is shy, awkward, & wears glasses like Lisa Loeb. However, once her hair's down, the glasses r off, & she's gotten n2 something comfortable, she looks remarkably stunning; a hidden beauty, if u may.

So I'm asking if there's some fascination w/ a shy girl or a wallflower who still happens 2 b beautiful. Is a nerdy girl more alluring or approachable then a more social girl?

Hi all. so i found out im about 6 weeks pregnant. I am going to be having an abortion ( i just need to schedual it lol) I am just not sure if i should tell my ex (who would be the father). What do u think should i tell him or no????

I'm so ashamed Im 16 and me and my twin are best friends i love her so much and we do everything together but when she got a boyfriend she began to spend more time with him and i began to feel left out because every week we promised to go to the cinema together or shopping just me and her and she kept blowing me off for him and i knew he was making her do it and worse he was 19 and one evening i went over to his house and told him to cool down with my sister cos she was always restless and tired he told me they were having sex everyday & thats why she couldn't do the twin things and when i started shouting at him he grabed me and pushed me down on the floor and held me down really hard and he raped me. I can't even bare to look at my twin anymore cos i always think its my fault. but its been 3 months now and she's dumped him and im preg but nobdy knows bcuz i wear lose clothes. and big sweaters. how do i tell my sister? that he raped me and im pregnant with his baby? i want an abortion

He is in his mid 30's, I'm 22. We started going out like friends and he hit on me. He has taken me out to restaurants, cool places, for movies and he recently even teached me to play Tennis! I'm poor, so I don't have a enough money to take him out and I need to do my part to show him a good time. I have only taken him to Salsa lessons so far. I like him as a person already, I just don't care about his big, fat bank account (even though that's awesome to me). He is kind of nerdy, he is ambitious, a perfectionist and very youthful as well. im a sophmore..ok, im dating a girl named ashley. she lives about 20 minutes away and in a different school. she's a junior. but me and her are always fighting about the gayest things, like twice a night atleast. and my feelings for her are basicly gone, and as they went down, the feelings i have for this other girl that lives short walking distance from me, same school, and is in 8th grade named rae have gone up. alot. and she likes me also. but she also likes this other guy named mike a bit more than she likes me.. i want to break up with ashley, but i don't at the same time... like i want to because we are always fighting aout the stupidest things and cause i want to go out with rae, but i don't because i don't want to throw away what me and ashley have/had..and im not even sure if she would pick me anyway.. she likes me 1-10 about a 6-7ish. and she likes mike about 8.. now that was about 2 weeks ago. this girl knows i like her. her friend told her a while ago i guess and ive been trying to talk to her alot, although we still dont really know each other.

she agreed to go to lunch with me and each of us bring a friend.

this does mean she's interested in getting to know me right?

What is the average age now of loss of virginity now? I'm only 25 and I lost mine at 18, and I was actually one of the first of my friends to give in. I think my best friend growing up lost hers at 20 or 21. And she had been with the guy since our sophmore year in H.S. It hasn't been that long ago, so how has it changed so drastically?

This inspired me to add and modifiy a few of these based on my and my friends' experiences, guys, feel free to add your own:

If he gives her a gift and she doesnt like it, hes an unthoughtful idiot
If she gives him a gift and he doesnt like it, hes an ungrateful bastard

If he wants sex, hes a pervert
If he doesnt, either he:
1. Is calling her fat
2. Is cheating on her
3. Had ED
4. Is gay

Its not ok for a man to ask her if shes ever faked an orgasm 'cuz thatll "hurt his feelings," but its ok for her to ask, do i look fat? is she prettier than me? etc

If he doesnt give her flowers, hes unromantic
If he does, either he:
1. Wants sex
2. Is too clingy and needy
3. Screwed up and is trying to apologize in advance

If she doesnt want to get married, shes an independent woman
If he doesnt want to get married, hes a coward afraid of commitment

I just met a girl at work that I am very attracted to. We got to talking and all the sudden I told her about me. She tells me how beautiful I am. All the sudden we get to talking about it. She says she's never been with a girl and claims to be straight, bc she has a bf. Then she also said she has dreams about being with a girl, and says she's very curious about being with a girl and ask me what it's like.

I told her I am so into blonds. Then I said I hope she's not weirded out by things I am telling her and she says maybe I'll dream about you. I am confused bc she seems like she likes me but am not sure bc she says she's straight. I'm not looking for anything serious just curious about her mind.

She only works on Saturdays so the Saturday I won't be there bc of my sister's b-day and the one after that she said she won't be working. Then I seemed disappointed so she said I'll try to pick up a shift. So what do you think about it. Thank you for your answer!

i went on a date today with a guy i liked and we were talking and all. It was all nice and i felt good but then towards the end i started thinking about the goodbye. I got nervous and i really wanted to have a nice goodbye. So we were standing looking at each other and i definitely felt something between us. but then we did this thing where we sidestepped and instead it was A DISASTER! we didn't even hug and i felt soo embarrassed and a little disappointed. I wanted to hug him but something held me back and i got cold feet! and we just parted ways.

So what do i say to him when i talk to him later? I get so stupid when it comes to things like romance.
I think i have issues. I get worked up thinking about the kiss and i want to do it but the when the chance comes i don't do it and im actually relieved and i get thoughts of 'Good...' and its like im actually repulsed by lips! What should i do about that issue too?

ok os i've been goin out wiht my bf for two years now..i love him more then anything else in the world...he's never lied to me about anything before but this situation jsut came up were i'm tied down to think he's not telling the truth this time..well one of my friends called and there like omg i'm so gonna kill ur bf he jsut did the stupidest thing.he told (a girl(on of her friends)) that he was gonna break up with me and that he's done with me.so i immediatly hung up and called him...i told him everything and he said if he was he wouldn't tell her and that he would tell one of his friends..and he keeps saying he didn't say that and that i just need to believe him...but idk wut to do..who to believe or who to turn too..please help me.. :'(

i need advice on avoiding, the ackwardness of not being able to talk to them in person. also, at my lunch table i sit with mostly all guys and my two firends angel and skye. we find it really hard to find something to talk about, because we not all from the the same school or have the same classes. can someone help me resolve this issue too.
