this girl knows i like her. her friend told her a while ago i guess and ive been trying to talk to her alot, although we still dont really know each other.
she agreed to go to lunch with me and each of us bring a friend.
this does mean she's interested in getting to know me right?
you girls dont just do this to be nice do you? especially if you already know i like you.
im just a bit worried. am i okay??

I think she wants to check you out (you mentioned you guys don't really know each other) in a controlled risk environment.
I love the idea for lunch to get to know someone; but sorry I don't like her choice of each of you bringing a friend. They will interfere in your communication, plus it's not really kind of her. What would be the matter to have lunch w/ only you 2?
I think it's not a matter of "does she really like me." It's interesting you think she's doing this to be nice, I think she's not sending out a very nice message. But I think she's doing this out of insecurity (since you guys don't know ea other etc) and not necessarely b/c she doesn't like you.
There's definetely some opening up though. Go there, be your best self, have fun and I'm sure she's going to like you! :)

Under normal circumstances, I would not eat with a guy just to be nice. If I was doing a man a favor, I'd probably be somewhat interested in him first, at least as a friend. I wouldn't jump to conclusions of romantic interest, as this seems to be a casual outing, but there is a chance. Have lunch with her and see how it goes.

Go to lunch and see how she acts toward you in a small group. She just may be uncomfortable being alone with you until she gets to know you a little better. In that case she will talk to you directly, make eye contact and possibly small physical contact such as touching your arm or hand.
If she is just being nice or really immature, she will talk mostly to her friend, glance at you without eye contact and steer the conversation toward general topics.

It could mean either... This guy asked me to go bowling with him and some of his friends, he was nice but I totally was not into him like that so I said ya but could I bring a friend. So I brought my friend to make it clear it was not a date, and I wouldn't let him pay for me. So he knew we were just friends. People may think that's mean but it's so much worse to lead someone on. That is a horrible thing to do. But maybe she really likes you and she's inviting her friend cuz she's just really nervous. I've done that before too! But you sound really sweet I hope it works out for you! Good luck!

There is a chance she's just trying to be nice. I'd say that you will be able to figure it out at lunch if she's being nice or interested. Just enjoy your lunch and let this take it's time. If it's meant to be it will happen. Best of Luck to you.

Shes probably interested in getting to know you but she wants to do it in a comfortable setting. Either that or shes just humoring you and wants a friend to be there so its not akward but I doubt it since she already knows you like her. My bet is your over stressing. You should be fine. I would only go out to lunch if i liked him or wanted to get to know him. I bet you that the idea to bring a friend is because SHE'S worried and wants to have someone she knows. Good luck, and ou have nothing to worry about :)

buddy, you sound very young...but you are DEFINITELY IN!!! congrats!!! however, she may just be doing it to be nice, which means she at least cares for you as a friend. just don't assume you are like GF/BF because sometimes not all hopes come true. but i think she AT LEAST likes you as a friend if she agreed to go with you to lunch. but if she blanks you at the last minute with an excuse its probably bogus. i got fooled once by a girl. we agreed to go out 3 times and she blanked me each time!!!

she probably likes you, especially if she agreed to this date knowing that you liked her. but don't pin outrageous hopes on this lunch. it's still in the getting-to-know-you stage, which is exciting and nerve-racking, but irreplaceable. don't rush it. enjoy every minute of this, and if it doesn't work out, try to remember everything you're learned.
