most who know what they want do...or maybe you dont have what they want and they are afraid of hurting your feelings?

This is because, and I can't speak for all women, but most of us don't feel confident enough with out ourselves that it's hard to fathom another person liking us in that kind of way. Don't give up though. Give it some time and she'll come around. If she doesn't then things just weren't meant to be.

are you asking a straight question-----i tend to get the guys who say "ive been thinking about you a lot" or "so, the weekend, what are you doing" and expect me to make the jump to a date. If you ask "will you go out with me?" directly to someone, then they should give you a straight answer.

A lot of women have had it "tetched in the head" that it's wrong to be interested in sex or have sexual feelings. Thus - until she realizes she's been spoon fed a bunch of garbage - she sees guys who hit on her as perverts.
