Okay here it goes. The guy I'm crushing on says he loves his ex girlfriend.....as a person. What the heck does that mean????? I asked him already but he only described it as "magic". Any ideas as to what magic means??

It means he isn't ready to let her go, and he doesn't wanna hurt your feelings. He is trying to be nice about it. Time to take the hint and wait to see if he can get over her.

Thats love for you, well not love, but the FEELINGS love gives you, there indescribalbe, also leave him be, could be dangerous if she descides she "loves him for more then friends" later on, so yea, let him be, and know that love isn't enough, it depends on HOW you use that love, so yea, leave him be, you can do better, lol, you deserve better ;-) just so you know too he was trying to hint that he loves her in a non-sexual way, doesn't make him any better of a person for it, but seeing love with an ex-girlfriend he was with as magic, shows that he isn't one to be vindictive, but again, be carful, love leaves a powerful bond, and he should be able to say much more about, I get the impression he is still reelin from the experience.....

I find in this day of love & dating..commitment & lust..it's difficult for anyone to let go of their past.. when I here "magic" I would run the hell as fast as I can..if he describes that as "magic" what the heck do you have then..He has to let go of that magic with her..clost that door & try to make new & improved magic with you if not you should move on

Love can be both but usually not at the same time. With one person your love might be constant; with another the love might be fickle. Fickle usually does not last too long.

The fact he told you that should give you a clue as to his indecisiveness.... It seems like he knows you have this crush on him... and is hinting that he will -- if not already -- will go out with you.
It is kinda like making you feel in competition and smother him with attention or whatever....
He should be telling you how he feels about YOU... and not focus on how he feels about his ex-girlfriend..
Who cares about that?
