do guys want to take it slow with girls they actually like?


why do they want to postpone sexual things with girls they actually like? just a little confused bc i just thought guys want sex regardless of whether or not they like the girl a lot, why does liking a girl make a guy want to hold off?

She has been having bad mood swings. Today she called me a jack *** and flipped ot because the heat was on to low? The other day she wanted to go to Subway and I said lets stay in and save some money and she did the same thing. She also wants to have a kid(just got married Oct 28) and we live in a small condo and the finaces are not htere either for a kid. So I told her the time is not right now but we will have kids once were in a capable situation. She gets upset over this which I can sypamthize best flipping out and locking yurself in the bed room can not be normal. She usally takes a nap after her episodes and then apologizes? This can not be normal right? She is 26 and i am 29. She does have endometrosis( trouble having kids) and is anemic.

I have been dating this guy for five years but never told my parents because I knew they would disapprove. Yesterday I finally told them because now I am living on my own and financially independent and I am old enough to do what I want. I am indian he is black. I told my parents that we just started dating.
My mom was a little disapproving but my dad yelled at me and said I should forget about him and my home. I can't break up with my boyfriend but I cant go back to lying to my parents. What should i do?
I feel like I have no choice but to hold my stance and let my dad stay mad at me. I know my relatives will try and convince me and I have no answer when they say "since you just started dating, whats the big difference in calling it off?"
What would you do?

There's this guy at my school, and I just hate being around him. He's an ugly person on the outside and on the inside. He's mean and inconsiderate, he brags about every little thing. (If you've seen my other ?'s about the guy that sexually harrassed me with his comments, yes it's the same guy.) Even when he's not doing anything to me, all I can think when I see him is, "@#$!^(%$!" seriously, I can't stand having him around. And after all that he's done to me in the past, I just wish he would disappear from my life, but I know that can't happen. how can I cope? thanks!

ok so i am 15. my mom left for tx almost 5 mos ago to take care of my sick papaw but now she doesnt even help him. she stays at a friends house smoking pot. she never calls me or my sister and she pretty much just abandoned us. my stepdad wont tell her to come home and i have taken over all parent responsiblilities. i also have to worry about school too. my mom has never been a good mom (mentally abusing her children and driving my older sister almost to suicide) she is crazy but i don't know what to do. My stepdad is lazy and wont tell her to come home. he just whines about how she left and doesnt even think how this is hurting his kids. i am so stressed ( cooking, cleaning, keeping my 4.0 GPA) its so hard. what am i supposed to do? its not like she will listen if i ask her to come home. my stepdad says its my fault she isnt coming bach anyways because i got in an argument with her before she left. i cry all the time. someone help me

when I was 16 I had a daughter at the time I had a boyfriend who I was cheating at the time I became pregnant. At the time I had no doubt that he was the dad and not the other guy.when my daughter was born she looke nothing like him but we always said she looked like me. I resently ran into the other guy and my daughter looks just like him as soon as he saw pics of her he asked me if she was his we took a test. and it turnes out he is the dad. we are now currently together and my daughter adores him. But she doesnt know that he is her dad. how do I tell my daughter that the guy she has always thought was her dad isnt her biological dad? Even thoe he hasnt been there for her eighter he sees her once in a while and he lives 20m from us, he didnt even call her for xmas or her birthday so is not like she is really attached to him but she still loves him I know that so please help me.

I'd love some impartial advice. Please help me to see beyond these choices.

The situation:
I live and work in Japan. Have only been here for 18 months.
My contract is per year and I must soon decide to stay another year or return to the US.

Should I stay or go?

Pros on staying in Japan:
easy job, good pay (im saving alot and paying off college debt)
i enjoy life here (it's clean and safe)
my boyfriend (he's the best man ive been with)

cons for returning to us:
complete life upheaval (ill have to find a new home, new job, ill be single- long distance relationship is not an option)


Cons on staying in Japan:
this job has no longterm career potential
i feel as though i am delaying the search for a job i truly love
i am close to my family and being away from them is difficult

Pro on returning to US:
ill be able to start a new chapter in my life

I just found out he was Indian. He lied to me and told me he was hispanic now that I know I don't care I love him. He also has not told his friends. His Mom and Dad don't know about us or our kid he says he will tell them this April. We talk about getting married and having more kids. My family likes him also and they get along great. The don't like that he lied to me for 10 years. What I want to know is will it really work out. Are his parents going to have a hard time dealing with it as much as he says or is he over reacting. I know they will be upset that they missed out on their only grandkid growing up. Can our realation ship work even though he is Indian and I am not. This is yrs before we started dating.

1) A few yrs back, my bf dated this girl for 2 yrs which ended up him getting dumped by her for another girl. The catch is he would still get booty calls from her. They cont. having sex for several months until he got pissed off at her girlfriend & blurted out they were still having sex. His ex got pissed & they never had sex again. He says he cont. sleeping with her to try to win her back.

2) He dated another girl that he fell for pretty hard & easily. The catch w/ this one is my bf was a rebound. She was newly divorced. Before they broke up he got her tickets to see a concert. He told her if she wanted to see it she had to go with him on a 2 day trip & have sex w/ him. I original thought this was a 1 day trip & she had to sleep w/ him after the concert to make her look bad. But instead it was a plan to win her back. This is his statement "I was pissed that I didn't win her back but at least I got lots of sex out of it."

Well im currently in a relationship but before I started going out with my boyfriend I was seeing this one guy who I fell in love with. We were never an actual couple but i fell for him eventhough he told me since day one that he did not want a relationship. I still went out with him wishing that one day he would fall in love with me but it never happened. So I came across my boyfriend and developed feelings for him. But i still cant get over the other guy. I get so depressed because i feel like im lying to my bf. I think that if the other guy were to tell me to get back with him I probably would. But when I was with him he was seeing other girls and it really hurt me. I didnt want to be in that type of relationship cause it wasnt healthy foe me. However dispite everything that the other guy did I still cant forget about him. Its so hard cause theres times when im with my bf and think about the other guy. I dont want to keep on doing this to him. Please help me get over the other guy.

say theres a man that was married for 7yrs with a child.he loves his child and wife very much and trys everything emotionally and financially to keep his wife happy.the more he gives/trys the meaner she gets.after 7yrs he gets a e-mail from a old gf.this gf gives him the attention and understanding his wife does not.he leaves his wife for the gf.he is overwhelmed with guilt and trys to comit suicide but at the last min. decides not to for his sons sake.this man then proceeds to give his wife everything house,cars,all the money he has in the bank and gets 2 jobs to make sure his son can keep his lifestyle.so here are my questions:is he a decent guy that tryed to make his marrage work but got temped by a hot sexy blond that was good at manipulation and gave him the love his marrage was missing.or is he just a snake that knew what he was doing and if he was that unhappy in his marrage he should have left before he cheated on his wife.

and a close friend didn't agree with the wedding, would you want them to be there anyway? Or another angle, how can you attend (or be in) a wedding that you feel is wrong?? I am coming at this as a Christian - the Bible says we aren't to marry unbelievers - so a friend that is talking about doing this is going against what God says. Can I support her as a friend by not attending - or would it be better to go? I know this is rambly, but I'm a bit confused on what to do.

My fiancee didn't come home last night i talk to him at like 1:30am and he said he'd be home shortly. I couldn't sleep cause the neighborhood i'm in isn't that safe and i need him or someone else to be here. At 3:00am i called his cell phone and it went dead. So at 4:00am i called up one of my best friends and had her pick me up and drive me past his friends house to see if he's still there and he was ... if you long term relationship , say 5 years, and one person in the relationship was offered there dream job but it would contain traveling around the country and it would mean that if your partner was to stay with you then they would have to give up there dream job, would you
a) ask the partner what they want? and if they wanted to stay how things were you would agree and not go ahead with the traveling job?
b) tell them that you are doing and you dont want to continue on with the relationship because it means alot to you.
c) tell them you dont care if they come or stay as you job is more important?

for 3 years of my life i was in a serious relationship with a man. we had a great realtionshi..lived together, loved eachother and literally never had a fight because we gt along so well...a year after living together, he moves for a job..he lives there for about a year..and he goes out to the bars one nigt with his firends and meets a girl. he did not have sex with her, but started to date her..while dating me..on my birthday he came up, took me out to a play and told me that he had been cheating on me. we broke up. havent seen him for 10 months. during this time he had a relationship for about 6 months with another girl who was madly in love with him. he comes to my house in that 10 months(a 3 hour drive)professing his love to me. we spend a few weekends together and he tells me he is not happy and that he is depressed..when he is with me he thinks about her. i love him and want to be with him. he says that he can't be with me because my family barely talked to him ever and are cold.

I have seen several people say some of the WORST things on here!!! I just read where a grown woman told a little 11 year old girl that she is "fat and should stick her head in the oven and die"!! How can people be so cruel??? If anyone out there wants to pick on someone they should at least not pick on a CHILD!! I have decided that if I see bevahior on here that is nasty to people, i'm going to report them for abuse. This world has enough problems without people wasting their time to pick on someone. Furthermore, if any of you reading this are one of the creeps that likes to hurt people with your words. I feel sorry for your sad and insecure little lives.
