can someone just explain to me why they want to postpone sexual things with girls they actually like? just a little confused bc i just thought guys want sex regardless of whether or not they like the girl a lot, why does liking a girl make a guy want to hold off?

Girls that they(guys) actually like or love are not entirely the same girls they want to have sex with.
That's why guys still love reading playboy although they have girlfriends.
and that's right. Liking a girl makes guys wanna hold off because they don't want to lose their girl.

its all has to do with man. but the man if he REALLY cares for her will bend to her needs. If a woman doesn't want sex. And the man gets angry with her about it and pressures her. that's not healthy and he doesn't REALLY care about you no matter what he says. But then their is that woman who wants sex on the first date...and the man that digs that. of course that usually is a sign that the girl is desperate and would do anything to keep a guy All i have to say USUALLY a man will take his time and want more of a relationship if he reallly likes her. (not to say tho, that all men are intimate) and if he just wants to get in your pants give him the number of a whore hotline and say audios. again. Thats just however a woman and a man feel. how long you've known him etc. oh by the way if he is using that whole thing that he loves you just for sex dont buy it hope this helped ta ta!

What is your purpose for trying to rush the guy? Maybe he really likes you and is afraid that if he rushes things you might turn on him. Could be he has had a similar fate before with a female and you remind him of her. There could be a number of reasons. Are you sexually dominant? You might be scaring the poor guy! He might feel he won't be able to satisfy you right and that you'll tell all his friends the "biznizz". Worse, you'll tell all yours and then the guy's reputation will be ruined and he'll never get another girl!
Just tell him what you want and how you want it and for God's sake give the guy a break and teach him a few things.

I think guys who really like a girl a lot get hurt very deeply and it's different for them. They can't be held by their "buds" and cry and make absolutely no sense when their hearts are breaking to other guys because they aren't cut like that, they are way uncomfortable seeing each other like that, whereas, girls can do all that stuff and move in and out of relationships easier because we can grieve more naturally and it's accepted by our g/f's. That's what I think.

Slutty girls are easy to sleep with. If you know for sure that this guy likes you, consider his reluctance or slowness a sign of his respect for you. Now I ask you this: Which is more important in the longrun, getting the sex out of the way now _before he's willing_ OR his respect for both you and himself. Try talking with him about your feelings and come to a mutual agreement about how/when/where you both will become intimate together. He won't feel so pressured once this is agreed to and you'll know the answers to "when" soon enough--it will kind of take care of itself so long as you're both sharing, kind and honest. You know men--they're universally afraid of commitment and will put it off until they're sure and ready for it (commitment, that is). Sounds like he cares for you and knows you're not just a hoochie-coochie girl (fast!) Slow yourself down, babe, and trust his judgment just the way you'd want him to trust yours.

because it a thing called respect they actually respect you and dont want to feel like they are being pushy maybe they just want to take it slow .....nowdays no one does that....if the woman is you just appreciate that man for loving you that much and girl hold on to him tight cause men like that are extremly rare .i am 26 yrs old and never have came across a man like that
