do guys want to take it slow with girls they actually like?


why do they want to postpone sexual things with girls they actually like? just a little confused bc i just thought guys want sex regardless of whether or not they like the girl a lot, why does liking a girl make a guy want to hold off?

Respect. When you start a sexual relationship before you get to know each other and decide together that it's time to express your love for each other, it very seldom lasts. Taking time to let a relationship grow before you have sex is a way to make sure there are true feelings involved. Other than that it's just getting laid and you can have that with anyone. He is showing he respects you enough to want to have more with you than a quick bang. Enjoy it, you don't find that very often.

a guy a boy is not some sex crazed walking penis .
i remember when i was at the age where virgins were a plenty . i remember many times many guys who really had a chance of having the girl just not doing it. we used to long moral discussions regarding this. i am not kidding . we consider being the first a huge deal a life time deal . now second who cares . but first not unless i was thinking marry her. why because we worried about right after what will she think will she think oh no i shouldnt have done it . or years later will she think that and then the poor sap who took the pearl is stuck with the knowledge he took what he shouldnt have.
now there is one more thing i remember and that was the idea that some girls or party girls and some are marriage material.
party girls great lots of fun i thought they were smart and knew what was up and new not to miss out. but the marriage material well thats different . you dont go messing up marriage material
it isnt that i was thinking i would marry her instead some just seemed so right for being a wife you know picture them baking cookies and having a baby. . i think your in the marriage material group and you dont seem to want to so get out of it . dress in a more easily known style whatever that is now you know that party girl way you need do this only a few times or once in a while and you i am sorry to say will if your grade A marriage material have to be more aggresive if you want it .

(1) Since it's common for girls to break up with guys (any age) for being 'too serious', guys don't want to screw it up with someone they want to keep

(2) Assuming a guy really likes a girl beyond just a physical relationship, it is a girl they feel comfortable introducing to their family and friends circle

(3) The unfair but true paradox on the subject of Sex is, that guys want to have sex right away, but if the girl/woman allows that to happen, she may be considered too 'loose' and may be tagged an unflattering/rude 'label'

If a man truly likes a woman.... he thinks of bringing her around his friends, his family and his mother, maybe even marrying her. ----Now most men would never allow themselves to bring home or marry an easy girl. Take her to Motel Six "hell yeah"...take her home to Momma...."hell no!"

A man wants to marry a woman like his mother. A woman he can treat like his princess, the queen of his castle. A woman to have his children. He wants to be proud of her. ----Now can you see how (for most men) these images clash wildly with the visualization of the stunningly hot girl who gave it up this one or that one at some Holiday party?

He would think she is hot....and he would probably have sex with her, but he would be thinking....."she could never be the mother of his children, she could never go shopping with his mother, and what would happen if my friends were alone with her."

Are you kidding? This is what most women want. Of course guys want sex, but many guys want love to exist in the equation to, ok. If you find a guy like that, hang onto him for dear life.
