Help! Me & my childrens mom have been seperated for more than 6yrs. She recently found out that i was in love wit another chick so now she wants to take me 2 court 4 them, even tho i've been paying her faithfully the last 16yrs. (I pay her $400 biweekly which she agreed with. We have 4 children 2gether, my money is deposited directly into her account but now she wants to go thru courts. Will i have 2 pay more? Less? The same, or will i owe back support even tho I've been paying for over 16yrs.) Don't kno what 2 do?

Christians Please--
Are there any Protestants that married a Catholic and then converted to Catholicism?
Do you currently still attend the Catholic church? What was most difficult for you? What was your most memorable experience or lesson? Do you have any regrets? What did you question most about the differences in beliefs and practices?

My boyfriend and I are of different faiths and this is something we’ve been discussing before we get married. Just curious about the thoughts of anyone who’s been there before.
This is not a debate of different religions of what I believe or you believe. I just want to know if anyone converted to their spouse’s religion or vice versa and how did that work out for you.

Any advice would be great. Thanks.

How old when you started the relationship with them?

year ages 12 & 14. He's 40+ and an alcoholic. One day my husband, brother and the kids came home from being on the river. As soon as they pulled up to the dock, my brother rushed up to me and started screaming in my face...actually bumping his chest into me. He was drunk and screaming something about me telling the girls to pick up their fishing rods. This went on for several minutes...spit flying from his mouth screaming and chest butting me. I was in total shock...my husband was sitting on the steps watching this. Hearing the screaming, my 18 y/o son was coming to my aide when my husband stopped him and told him not to get involved.

My boyfriend and I just moved in together about 2 months ago, we work very different hours and are rarely together except on his days off (they vary). Well within the last 2-3 weeks or so he has started stopping at a local bar and playing pool for and hour or so while I am at home sleeping (he works nights I work days). He wants to start a pool league and has been going every night after work to get people together for a league and then practicing. He loves the game and wants to be a pro one day. He is a great player and likes the ego boost of beating everyone. But I feel so uncomfortable with it because he goes every night after work. I know he is not out cheating and he doesent drink but it is just uncomfortable. We have been fighting like crazy because I dont like it...but he feels like I am holding him down. WHAT DO I DO....am I just overreacting, he does spend his days of with me and has no desire to go when we can be together....am I just crazy and insecure??

Hi freinds
I see many questions each day relating to family and relation.
Most of the people suggest for moral, ethics, vows and loyality.
but threre are very few who suggest people to hear their heart .
we put suggestion with high degree of humanityand ethics but do we put in our life?

married males-do you get provoked when u see a sexy women and if she gives a way to get alongside what whould u do?

Married females-u talk lot of about being loyal and honest in relation, but can u realy control being physical if u r husband is out of town for 2 years?

Ex was ordered to pay me child support for our 2 kids. I felt with her job situation (been at her present job for about 6 months), it would overwhelm her so I offered to send her about half the money (with my oldest) to help buy food, clothes, etc..., at least until she gets established in this job. I'd rather have a little support now than no support at all and their mom in legal trouble. She took great offense to the offer and chewed me out for disrespecting her and stating " you are still trying to control my life" issues. She stated she didn't need my help because she had friends and family and refused. Long story short, one payment in now she has suddenly reconsidered. Asked in a nice tone but certainly not gracious or apologetic. Should I offer again and play nice or should I just tell it was a one-time offer and she has to sleep in the bed she made?

Every year my birthday's suck. My husband never gets me a present and he never takes my kids to get me one, he says every year he just didn't have time. He makes me a cake with the kids but big deal. I don't care if he takes the kids to the dollar store to get me something, it makes me feel bad and my kids feel bad for me because they have nothing for me. I never do that to him. Where's the respect???

I broke up w/ my ex 6 months ago beause he was verbally.mentally abusive. He has been contacting almost everyday via text/email/voicemail. I never responded to anything. I was madly in love with him but I couldnt be that woman who disrespects herself any longer. However, yesterday my doorbell rang and it was him. He showed up to tell me he was leaving the area. He acted so differeent (emotionally) than what he has said in his texts and emails. He was kind of on top of the world and non chalant.I gave him a hug good bye and some tears came out. He said hes only going to be 2 hrs away and hes coming back on weekends. I said thats good. He kept hugging me and then kissed me on the lips. He asked me to call him later last nite and I never did. He then sent me a text saying "hungry?" and I said no, just ate.. I dont know what to think of this. I still love him but I dont believe his feelings and im scared. i dont know why he does this when he hates me when Im with him..

A good example is my 6 yr old made his first real joke and it was real funny....I have a real mean grand-mother-in-law. She downs everybody and no one is worth her time...just real mean!!! So, I was asking him what he was doing that day and he said, " me and mommy are going to a wedding shower" and he said, "guess who it's for---it's for Great Grandma Cox" I said "really?" He laughed and said, "Hey daddy? - I got you!--you know nobody would want her--she's too mean! Ha!Ha!" I really got a kick out of his joke. My other son when he was 4 yrs old, I was laying on the bed watching TV and had a sandwich next to me on the night table. My son just walked up to me and picked up my sandwich and said bluntly, "Don't mind if I do Daddy!" I thought that was funny....Please share stories like these and others. I am writing a term paper in college and am needing funny stories about what kids say....Thanks!

Recently my husband and I went on a fabulous vacation to St Martin. The beach we stayed at was gorgeous we stayed on the French side of the island. The beach was topless on one side and all nude on the other. Was crazy to see men just standing around discussing sports with nothing but hats and sunscreen. So one day we joined them and it was very erotic. Day light and swimming in the nude like the Europeans. We left though when we saw children come along. My girlfriends back home couldn't believe we actually did that and said they wouldn't have. My husband and I are both physically fit and felt comfortable. But it was probably the strangest thing I have ever seen. Would you do it? Check it out Orient Beach St Martin

My ex was very physically and mentally abusive towards me for 3 years, before I got pregnant with our son, I got up enough courage to leave him with my son was 2 weeks old.. I went home to my mom in Colorado and he stayed where we lived (with his parents) in Mississippi Ever since then there's been a custody battle, going on two years now. He told me that he's not going to let me go that easy, and he's mom wants my son, anyways. (long story there)

He moved here in March and has an apartment, but no job, he lives off of unemployment and his parents. The last court hearing said that, he needed to start paying child support, but he wont. He has my son once a week for a over night thing. But my son screams when he sees his dad. (my son is 2 now)

I've been proven fit 7 times now, and he keeps contesting, cause the courts wont give him full custody. or anything other then visits. He's planning on contesting again, can he? and does him not paying child support hurt his case?
