Help! Me & my childrens mom have been seperated for more than 6yrs. She recently found out that i was in love wit another chick so now she wants to take me 2 court 4 them, even tho i've been paying her faithfully the last 16yrs. (I pay her $400 biweekly which she agreed with. We have 4 children 2gether, my money is deposited directly into her account but now she wants to go thru courts. Will i have 2 pay more? Less? The same, or will i owe back support even tho I've been paying for over 16yrs.) Don't kno what 2 do?

Sometimes I hate this about black women. In my city there is a coalition called sad dads, that is begging the family court to stop taking their children. There are so many men who DONT want anything to do with their children... I hate when women, black and white alike, act like a s s holes and get jealous of the new woman in their ex's life and use the children as leverage. Its disgusting.

What you need to do is document EVERYTHING and bit of money that you give her. If you've been having it deposited into her account, or if you can gain a paper trail, have any receipts DO IT. Make sure you have good representation too. Women are just disgusting... it angers me.

If she takes you to court then you need to have proof that you have been paying her the money, and show that you have been depositing money into her account. This information will make her look bad if she tries to say that you haven't been paying anything. Protect yourself, and let the courts know that the only reason she is bringing you to court is because you fell in love with someone else. Get a lawyer now that way you can be 2 steps ahead of her. Are the children currently living with you? If so then prove it by getting a lawyer to sue her for custody. Good Luck

The courts will adjust your payments by your salary, If you have proof that you have been paying the agreed amount ,you might have a leg to stand on. If not buy a big jar of vasiline, because you're gonna get fu----! She's trying to mess you up because of the new woman. Get a really good lawyer. Good luck!!!

Why would you lay up and have 4 children by a woman you would not marry? She should get every penny she can from you, because you wasted16 years of her life with your games. Since you knew you were using the woman, why didn't you at least use protection? You're ridiculous!

Some states have a formula that is based on what you make versus what she makes. Call the clerk of the courts office and find out who can tell you this.
