Yes I have.
My ex was more attracted to his ex than to me.
I told him if he'd rather be with her, go for it.
I divorced him. I couldn't live like that.
And unsilly, age has nothing to do with it.
Happiness does. There are single people of all ages.

You have vested 28 years into a marriage, with that said, I would suggest you seek marriage counseling to see if your relationship can be salvaged. (if that is what you both want) Even though you have been together for SO long, and you both realize that this relationship is over, there is still time for the both of you to find someone who truly makes you happy. However, I suggest marriage counseling to determine when and why you are falling out of love with one another. Maybe you just need to remind one another why you had gotten married in the first place. Good Luck.

I have been married for 37 years with the same problem. I have been thinking of leaving for years and years. Age has nothing to do with it and neither does legnth of marriage. If it is gone, it is gone. Good luck to you.

I couldn't get along with my husband's girlfriends so I ditched him, after 19 years. Cut your losses cause I can promise you there is someone better. It is scary but you can do it and you will feel so much better once it is done. Why stay with someone whom obviously doesn't respect and cherish you.

it's gonna be hard finding someone else at that age... i would say it depends on how much alimony you'd receive.
also, think of the grandkids
