Marriage & Divorce - 25 August 2006

Are you all that dumb? Do you all really still think like 12 year olds well into your 30's? Do you really not have a clue why she's mad, what she wants for her birthday, what "special" gift you should get her? I have a hard time with this because I know a lot of very intelligent men but as soon as you talk about anything having to do with a wife or gf they all of a sudden look like a deer in headlights. I bet half, no... more than half of you came on here and asked a question about what to get her but forgot what she TOLD you she wanted a week ago.

My bestfriend was telling me about a guy she dumped years ago for whatever reason. Later, she got married to someone else, and soon regretted dumping the first guy. While in her marriage, she realized that the things she saw bad in the 1st guy were only minor, and probably could have been worked out. She told me today that she feels it was a bad decision and now she has to swallow the fact she's may have missed out on the "right one".

Do you feel like there was a woman/man that could have been the right one for you, but you let it slip away?

I have been out with three different divorced men, each of which has told me about their divorce or ex's on the first date. Not alot of details, just who initiated it, how long they were married, why they split up, etc... I'm divorced, but don't really like to share all of the details on the first date. Are they more comfortable with their divorces than I am? Does this happen to anyone else?

since our son was born my wife has tried to go down on me and can never finish because she sqays it makes her sick. i ask her if she is only doing it for me or if she really wants to do it and she says she used to love it and cant understand it and wants to please me the same way i do her. please help us with this dalema.we both miss it.

I do everything for this man we have been together 3 years married 2 months and my husband does nothing. i take out the trash I work 14hours a day come home make dinner , clean up the house and get things ready for the following day. he will not even put his dishes in the sink he hands them to me to do. someone help this man is spoiled not from his mother but from me . and I need help to get him to do things for himself , and holding back sex just will not work.

My ex wife just gave me and my wife custody of our two teen boys. She did not want them anymore. When she had custody I had to pay her more than half my pay ($2000), but I asked for 10% less than the GA guide lines from her (she only pays $300). She agreed to everything, and it was made official in court today.
Well, she ALREADY has started asking my youngest son (12) to move back in with her (She just got finished forcing them out, and has sold her house and now lives in a 1 BR apt!!) and has started telling me she is taking me back for alimony (which was $500 a month and ended a year ago.
How can I help my poor sons deal with their mother's up and down behavior, and stop her from making these silly threats, as it has become a real downer to my wife and my family in general (she isn't even paying up to the guide lines os support, how does she think she deserves alimony AGAIN???)

my boyfriend and i have been together for over 2 years, living together for over 1...anytime he hears the word marriage...he shakes and runs away...now im not saying i want to jump on the wagon and get married now but id like to in the furture...his parents are divorced and he only talks to his dad maybe twice a year, so i can understand thats why he's scared. has become friends with a female on his job. He never told me about her. He once told me that this female has problems with her marriage, but I had no idea this was his new "friend". Well yesterday I found out that he has been talking with her on the phone often...and even send ALOT of text messages to her throughout the day. Everyday he erase all his text messages and never mentioned he's become good friends with her. I feel he has been hiding and lying to me..and I'm hurt. He said the only reason he did not tell me is..what he thought my reaction would be. I guess because I'm so honest about everything...it hurt he couldn't be honest with me. I'm sure her husband has no clue she talks with my husband and send him messages throughout the day. So anyway my question is...Should I feel hurt? He has been lying and keeping things from me for 2 months now. He don't think his "friendship" is a problem. I mean I don't even know this woman. HELP please tell me what you think.
