I want to buy some lingerie for my wife for this big weekend that I planned for us (thanks to a member who suggested a spa). What is the big fad? What should I get for her to feel extra special?

I'd go for something classy, that she'll look good in and that she'll feel sexy in. Like a see-through babydoll with matching panties. Or a nice bra and panty set with a garter and stockings. Or even just a long, silky gown. But don't go getting her something like a French Maid's outfit if you aren't sure if she's into that sort of thing, b/c she just feel stupid in it. lol

How sweet, I am not sure what is really a big fad. Just go and get something silky, sexy and that really turns you on, because not only in lingerie for the woman but it is most certainly for the man.
I can guarantee you she's going to fee extra special thanks to the spa and the lingerie gift your getting.

Make sure you purchase a size that fits.Think of your wife and what body parts she is self contious about. Then purchase an article that will make her feel comfortable and good about her self. If she doesn't feel comfortable it does not matter what you think looks good on her or what you like, she will not wear it.Garter belts are really sexy to me. You could even buy her a sexy night gown if you get stumped on an outfir. Also, very important, Have lots of alcohol prior to this event. That always helps out with sexy outfits. WOW Have Fun!!

Ok first off make sure you check her tags and get the right size. I would go to victorias secret or nordstrom and buy her something not trashy like a full length nightie. Silk is always good. Very sweet hubby to think of her. Kudos.

I would suggest something that is not going to make her feel uncomfortable in it.
If your wife is self conscious about her body, please don't get her a thong or anything too revealing (even if you thing she will look great in it). She will feel obligated to wear it and not really want to. That will put a damper on the evening.
Nighties are always sexy.
Silky boy shorts with a silk tank are sexy too.

got to victorias secret.. fredericks of hollywood might be to sleazy for her.. get her a 2 piece thong and bra set, or a thong and nighty, or a nighty w/the matching robe and matching slippers.. make her dinner, get some strawberries and cream or chocolate w/wine.. get a movie, put some rose pedals all over the floor and the bed.. run her a bath w/lavender... give her a massage, rub her feet..
