He is an emotional recluse and it like beating my head against a brick wall. He will seem to listen to me at times but within a week it becomes obvious that nothing sank in. I am a big believer in honesty and communication but it is now to the point where I would rather not say anything at all because I know he doesn't hear me anyway. I am about to explode with all the pent up emotions and he acts like he could care less. I even told him it hurt deeply that I felt like I could not "talk" to my own husband.

My wife and I have not had sex in over 1 year - not getting along too well. Now I find out she is taking birth control pills and has been for about 2 months now. Just wondering if there would be any other medical reason to take birth control pills other than to prevent pregnancy?

Seems like we have to yell or leave before it's understood that it's serious. I've prefaced it with "I feel this way because" and "This is something that bothers me" or by any number of other ways it can be said. Issue is that I'm not heard. Not validated in my own feelings from her but she says she needs it from me. ANY IDEAS? I'm sick of the yelling and want to express myself in a calm safe environment. We are married and have 2 kids of our own. He owes backpay from before but has been paying on schedule since we married, about 4 yrs now. I used to work so we filed income separately and his income got taken away due to the backpay. This year I haven't worked at all because I have been going to school and he's been supporting us. My question is, if he claims all of us, aren't we entitled to some of his check, I know some of it has to go to her, but he's got a family of 3 here and 1 over there, or does it ALL go to her? My other question is, if he were all caught up and owed nothing in back pay, would they still take his income tax check?
