Marriage & Divorce - 3 August 2006

My wife left me because of my irresposibilty and lack of compassion, and habit of doing dumb things. I went to physciatrist today and he told me I have a form of depression called Dysthimia which is a sort of depression disorder that can cause all teh above actions. She just left me what should I do. I am seeking treatment and talking about the reasons why I have this disorder (before her time). Should I ask her to forgive me and try to work it out or ahould I work it out than let her see the difference.

When my husband and i met i told him from the start that most of my friends are male. I've always been like that, well he always acts like he's better than them whenhe meets them. I started a new job over a year ago and got to know a guy at work, I didn't keep it from my husband,i told him right away and even introduced them. Well my husband calls him a asshole and other things, and there is no reason for it, he doesn't even know him. I told him that if he got to know him he would like him and he still refuses. He was like this with all my friends until he got to know them. The thing that pisses me off the worst it that i had to like his friends from the start, they were his friends and i has to deal with it. How do i explain to him that it bothers me that i have to bust my butt for him to get to know his friends. I feel like everything i say doesn't matter, he gets so defensive. and it hurts me because i've tryed everything............PLEASE HELP ME

I have been divorced for 6 years. My ex-husband will not help pay for anything my daughter needs. He has no other family or children and pays $230 a month child support. He agreed to help pay half her acting lessons before she started, and now says he won't pay anything that the court has not ordered. He doesn't carry insurance on her, and does not help with school clothes, or anything else she needs. He thinks the child support should pay for everything, but with a 10 yr. old girl it does not. Apparently, it must be in writing for him to fulfill his duties as a father. If he paid me a large amount of child support, I wouldn't ask for anything extra, but he doesn't. What should I do?

I'm 33 he's 32 we're married with 2 kids .separated 3 times ...last 2 times while separated he slept wit my sis. now we're 2gether again and I'm already not feeling good about this.. our personalities are clashing, sex life sucks he's 100lbs overweight been promising to lose weight forever. I'm the same shape as when he met me 15 years ago just 12lbs more from 110 to 122lbs so I may be being a little harsh cuz I dont have to work at it. I miss my ex boyfriend that I was seeing b4 hubby came back and we decided 2 try again I hurt him badly ....hubby seems 2 adore me and becuz of that i feel like crap for feeling this way, we are going to counseling next week...I wonder if a counselor has ever told a couple to get a divorce? it might be us... I dont want to be a person staying married for the kids but I'd hate to break their hearts again...I am a christian and trying to live right is soo hard? My husband and i were going through a bit of a rough patch, i felt so lonely and slept with another guy on several occasions (still having sex with the husband though). Now though i think that i may be pregnent, so what should i do, me and my husband already have 2 children and we did have talk of having a 3rd. I really dont know what to do if i am, as if i get rid of it, it could be my husbands but if i dont then it could be this other guy, everyone will know as he has 2 children also. I only ever want children with my husband. I dont want to get rid of this baby as it could belong to my husband!

I am also married with 2 children and he has grandcildren. We have only official relationships. but at meetings I get blushed and my hands trembled, that made him nitice my feeling to hi. My cuz and her husband went to the beach this week with his family she decided on the beach and they all agree to go, but her husband want to go another beach, She name some other beaches, but he decline,.
On the way she miss the road to the beach and her husband start to quarrel with her for that, when they reach he and his family didn't bath at all, because they say it has to many ppl. They were upset, My cuz didn't not notice it. she ask her husband to come bath but he didn't. So she went swimming. Her husband was displease and storm back to the car. At a time she went looking for him asking him whats worng, he say" You always like to do what you want and don't care about his feeling, & she is selfish."
On the drive back home he didn't speak to he only his family, she felt very bad, the she ask he to get something to eat and he started to quarrel again.
He has notspeaken to her for the past days what should she do?

All of my life I searched for that special woman. A woman I could give my heart to with out reservation. There were so many women in my life. I would sleep with them all. Some for a week some for a night or even a month or two. But none would touch so deep in my soul than this woman I was married to for the last 14 years. I loved the scent of her pillow. I would smell it when she was away. What a wonderful woman she was to me. She was 11 years younger than I. She even wanted a child. I was more than happy to give her anything she wanted. But after she slept with a stanger that day. My world fell apart. I am trying to move on. But my love was real. I am amazed that I let this one woman affect me so much. She was sexually abused as a child and I loved her inhabitions. My gaurd was down and I was hurt like no other. How can I move on nowing I will love no one else in my life time.

My boyfriend says that if i go away for the weekend with my friends that he won't let me back in tho house and i've not to come back. I think this is totally unreasonable as i've only been away twice in 5 years living with him. If i go, I'll be homeless and if i don't, then he's won. I'm making plans right now to leave him.
