Marriage & Divorce - 14 June 2006

Melissa is Catholic & I'm a disassociated Jehovah's Witness. I still firmly believe in my faith, but my family is giving me the 3rd degree. Melissa wants a Catholic wedding and my family will not attend unless its throu Justice of the Peace. Even then, only 2 members of my family will come. My father is not. On her side 70 people may show. (mostly family from Trinidad). I explained this to her and she still insisted on a Catholic wedding. I'm stuck between a rock and a hard place.

I'm not gay. And I don't want a f***ing answer, Its rhetorical. There is NOTHING wrong with being homosexual. I believe in God, but I don't believe in religion, I have my own theory. But thats another story. Think about it. How is gay marriage harming you in your little bubble of ignorance? Think about this, what if being straight was a "sin"? What if religion didnt exist? Lets say it was reverse, you were SUPPOSED to be gay? Than most people would be gay. Why you ask? Obvious, Your supposed to! Most people do what they think their supposed to. Are you "supposed" to be gay or straight? Neither, You make your own choice. Thats my stand. Don't like it? Go die. I don't care.

I have been separated from my husband ( verbally abusdive and physically threatening ) for almost 3 months. Final paperwork is pending, and I have recently reconnected with an old friend from my college days, and I am interested in exploring the possibilities. Is it wrong to move ahead? I'm a very beautiful woman and I'm not the least bit insecure. I just know if I were a guy I wouldn't look at anyone else but my woman.

He has one friend in particular who he talks to the most, his phone bill is loaded with her number and they have really long conversations.He knows I don't like her but he dosen't care.
