no, you shouldn't because the food would have incalcuable amounts of bacteria on it, and this could make the child sick.

Depends. If the food has been on the floor for as long as you say it has then the child will be in danger of more than just having loose bowels and no it is not rude to tell someone if it involves the health of a child. Just don't be too overbearing. Once is enough! Tyra Banks had a show not too long ago all about germs. Germs are just about any and everywhere so it is safe to say that we consume germs 100% of the time. According to a junior scientist on Tyra's show there is a 5 second rule for food that has touched the floor. The scientific finding is that it will take germs longer than 5 seconds to collect on the food item. So if you can swoop down and grab whatever it is before 5 seconds is up then you've won!

Food left on the floor for 6 months is very unsanitary and could cause serious problems. I have a 2 year old and a 3 year old and we go by the 5 second rule in our house on the floor for more than 5 seconds do not touch it. Hope this helps!

Are you talking about your grandchild or are you referring to something you read on here?
If this is your grandchild, buy Mommy a vaccuum cleaner! And bring the babies to your place (assuming your floors are clean).
Its never a good idea to let a child think its okay to eat off a dirty floor. If they pick up that habit at home, what happens when they are out in public someplace and see something interesting looking on the floor? Like in a public bathroom?

Whoever has this child needs help and you need to do something for this poor defenseless person who they are putting through this ABUSE. How can you have love and respect for these people when they have no love or respect for that baby who does not know any better. Please do the right thing and turn them in. That baby does not deserve the treatment they are receiving. I think I am going to be sick.
