Too bad, cause it isn't. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but almost all of you who are married are gonna be getting a divorce sometime in the near future. Sorry, but it's the truth. (And no I am not married).

I had 2 affairs, one that lasted for over a year and didn't realize what I was doing until it was too late. I regret everything I did and said that got us to where we are today.

A woman working next to my husband's shop is flirting with him. Eating her lunch in our shop, constantly in a tearful mood asking my DH for advice about her loveless marriage. My DH says he doesn't feel anything for her, but it irritates me because of the way she acts when I'm around. She stands very close to him, asks him to get her coffee (which he does!), buys him lunch, and often I find her sitting in his chair. She acts too intimate and it's making me jealous. She's friendly with me but won't keep eye contact. I told my DH about how I feel but he says they're just friends. How do I get her to stop flirting, when my DH allows it?

Two weeks ago, after an argument, my husband told me to "get out of [his] house." I called my sister and she got out of bed at 6am to drive the two hours to pick me up and bring me home.

Things have been bad for two years. I've had to beg for attention to get any, and mostly fail. He tells me over and over it's because I don't keep house well enough, and I try, but it makes him affectionate for a few hours, until he gets absorbed back into whatever game he's playing. Don't even ask about sex. I forget what that's like.

In any case...I've been told by friends that it's emotional abuse, and I don't know what to do. I don't want to go back, but he called my parents today and pretended to be the reasonable one. What do I tell them, since I need their support and help? They've mentioned that I've "invested ten years of my life" into this, but...I hurt, and I don't want to waste any more.

Any suggestions? Please?

I thought he was my soulmate. We were happy, I thought. He was doing sound on weekends in bars, I let him cause he needed GUY time. I was at home with kids. Now he is in another state and I am here alone. I can not seem to get my life started again and everyone I meet I can find something wrong with them. I am scared I will never have that love or passion again. I miss that what do I do?

Me and my SO have been together a year. We've been living together for 10 months. Every cent we make, we share. We have a joint bank account, we're buying our own house etc. We refer to each other as "husband" and "wife" because we consider each other such.
Everyone we know seemed fine with our relationship, until we told them we're expecting our first child in Nov... Now, it's "he's just shacking up with you, taking advantage of you, now you're knocked up, you're going to be miserable!" My mother believes that he won't be able to pick our child up from school, take him to the doctor, or otherwise be involved as a parent because WE won't have a license. She thinks the only way to make things "work" is if we get married, and he Legally Adopts our child.
My Question: If two people choose to do everything together as if they are married, BAR NONE, does society look down on that? I mean EVERYTHING. Except for getting that one peice of paper signed by a notary public.

my man has no sex drive whatsoever; yet he insists on staying with me. i am 36, 130 lbs, attractive and smart. he has prior issues of child abuse and abandonment by his mother. I think maybe hes a closet homo or too traumatized by his childhood.
its been 8 yrs now and i dont like him anymore anyway. we have a 18 month old baby (one night of too much liquor) who we both love dearly. The only problem is we cant stand to be around each other.. I lost my job recently and dont know what to do with this jackass of a man i have-I am not ugly or obese or stupid. I think maybe hes just crazy and weird, any ideas?

I've been married 3 yrs He is 12 yrs older We cant get pregnant He constantly lies about the dumbest things and he is not good at it so my friends find him to be an idiot and I am embarrassed by him. We work different shifts so I basically see him on fridays. He always says he is taking me out to a movie or something but instead he goes bargin hunting at thrift shops and i loose track of him for an hour or two. When we eat out we dont talk. I always end up feeling like it was a waste of my day and then I start to think Iam wasting my life. He is fun with other people around but a silly fun He is the annoying guy every one avoids at a party if you get what i mean. When I sit with him to discuss the problem its as if i am talking with the air, i have even asked if we should consider seperating it doesnt seem to phase him its as if I am doing this on my own. I run the house,I calculate the bills, if there's any problem or situation i handle it Iam just drained.

I've been with the same girl for 2 years and we are in graduate school. She wants to get married because all of her friends have all just recently wed in the last two months. I say we wait until our degrees are finished so that we may start a marriage with a nice income.
