The issue isn't if your husband is cool with it. Are you? I would guess not, or you wouldn't mask your emotions under a cloud of alcohol. Or is the husband thing your excuse for being drunk? I don't know, only you can. Having great drunken sex is a plus in any relationship, but I don't think I would stay with someone just for the O factor, but hey, I don't have it that way! Personally, I stayed in a bad marriage way too long. I would either find a way to make you happy in the current relationship or find a way to live without your husband.

No that is not cool, or sanitary for that matter. If you can only be around him when your drunk then that is bad, especially if you have kids or plan to have them. Does he know you as a sober person? For all you know, that may not even be your husband that is with you in the "sack" How would you really know, your drunk. But all in all, you wouldn't want to be a bad influence on any youth that may occur in your home, and if you plan to have kids you wouldn't want them growing up and having a drinking problem, maybe you should try and get out of the habbit f getting drunk, if yu truly want to be with your husband, you should show him the real, sober, you, not a drunky. And for that matter, you may want to check and see if you agreed to anything while you were under the influence, because alot of unknowns can happen when your drunk.

No! If it is really that bad and you don't want a divorce try talking and if you can't communicate alone seek a marriage counselor. The most important part of a relationship is communication if you don't have that then you can't make anything work.

Good luck and don't forget to pray!

Thats really sad. Do you have a problem with alcohol, or is being around your husband truly that intolerable that you have to drink yourself into oblivion?

I'd consider serious marriage counseling...or divorce.

Sounds depressing, life's too short for ****!

Good luck, T

How about thinking about what your drinking is doing to your insides.....Think it's going to be healthy for you in the long run? I doubt it......Ever considered a 12-step program....Maybe you need a little more support than any of us on Yahoo can provide....

Sounds like to me you should get a divorce. Why ruin your body and health for the sake of somone else when it's such a unnecessary reason. So what your going to be a drunk just to be around someone? I don't know....If you like it, I love it.

Wouldn't it be better to leave your husband, IF that is the only way you can stand to be around him? Drinking doesn't solve the problem, it just masks it.

Well, if you are unwilling to better your situation then I guess you are ok with it. There are always ways to fix a problem - sounds like you could both really benefit from marriage counseling.
