Marriage & Divorce - 16 June 2006

My husband's birthday was a few weeks ago and he had to work but he came home with a cake. When I asked him if all of his employees had chipped and got him a cake, he told me that this straight male employee felt bad he had to work on b-day and decided to buy him a cake and he put regular birthday candles on it. I guess to me guys just don't do things like that, but i don't know for sure b/c I am not a guy so any help on this would be much aprreciated.

anyone seen Under a tuscan sun? Ever since I was young, I've felt like traveling, dicovering cultures and finding myself. I have two kids now, and am in a serious relationship. The outcome of a unurtured child.
I dream about going away everyday damn day and simply being, finding myself , my happiness, my time.
Am I out of my mind? Will he still love me if I....did it?

I recently found out my soon to be husband was sending naked pictures of himself to other women. Ok, so we had that issue and for whatever reason I have decided to stay with him. I want to trust him again and move on with our lives but its really not that easy. Everytime his phone rings now its like I have radar...and I really don't want to be like that. When I have to screen all of his calls and verify all of his reasons for not being at home then we need to move on. I want to stay but its like I am killing a part of me each day I do..I love him but I have to love me more. I know he loves me and wants to marry me but I can't seem to get over it. Is it that its just too soon or what? I chose to stay so what can I do to not hurt so bad and start acting like the scorned woman??

My husband and I separated ways without resorting to annulment. He left us (his family of 25 years) on New Year's Day, 2000, to do some soul searching as he said when in fact, he just wanted to be with his other woman. He came back after three months and since then, he never left again but never did he tell me that he wanted to make up for his shortcomings. I learned from my friends that he still is seeing this woman and is even having affairs with our maids. Since September of 2000, I never allowed him, for health reasons, to have sexual contact with me On and off, I lived separately from him and my children but lately, I decided to go back to our house. We are now living in the same house but in different rooms. How could I make everyone believe that we are no longer doing sex together because nobody believes me and this makes me a liar to their eyes? I don't even know what they are apt to every time they ask me about it.

I sent an email to my boy f about my decision for our relation ( friendship or couple) and ask for his decision. But I haven't got reply from him for 01 week. I want to ask YOU

My husband decided to flip out on me tonight because he was asleep on the couch.. I kind of asked him to keep an ear on my other two kids so I could put the other one to bed... well he flipped out and said basically that I have no consideration that he has to be up at 3am, and it's all about me.. blah blah... that I need to think about the fact that he has to work, and has to leave for work everyday at 5am...

I in turn told him that that's what happens when you have children.. and when I'm tired or sick and want to sleep.. do I get to do it??

He makes me feel like I'm this heartless person that only cares about myself... when in reality, that's the furthest thing from the truth.. and i dont understand why he always say "it's all about you"...

I dance very well. Enough to have had hundreds of people compliment me on the way I dance and be absolutely amazed by my talent. My boyfriend comes along and says that I should tone down my moves because only 75% of what I do looks good. He says that his friends call me the dancing queen and that it is not meant as a compliment. I think that if you are at a dance club, you need to loosen up and if you won't dance yourself, then loosen up when it comes to the self expression and talent of others. I thought that they sounded like haters. I feel that my boyfriend should be complimneting me most of all about the things I do well. Not trying to bring my ego down a few notches.
