My husband decided to flip out on me tonight because he was asleep on the couch.. I kind of asked him to keep an ear on my other two kids so I could put the other one to bed... well he flipped out and said basically that I have no consideration that he has to be up at 3am, and it's all about me.. blah blah... that I need to think about the fact that he has to work, and has to leave for work everyday at 5am...
I in turn told him that that's what happens when you have children.. and when I'm tired or sick and want to sleep.. do I get to do it??
He makes me feel like I'm this heartless person that only cares about myself... when in reality, that's the furthest thing from the truth.. and i dont understand why he always say "it's all about you"...

They are our children... we have 3.. and I also work... I recently just went part time.. but I'm the one that gets up with them in the morning.. to school, back and forth from school... I'm expected to keep the house clean, and things like that.. but hey.. it's all about me right!!?!
I would love to take a little cat nap as well, but even when I'm sick.. I have to take care of the kids.. I don't get that "courtesy".. and yes i know moms never do.. but I think he is just being rude.. and I'm getting a little tired of it... no pun intended.

I'm being sarcastic here.....but are your children by someone else? If not the children's father needs to grow up. No matter how hard you try to keep things on schedule when you have children there are going to be times when your life gets turned upside down. That sometimes means you go to work tired.

My husband is exactly like that too, but you know what i always say, "then stop F*CKING me" and he feels stupid, so he shuts up. Or i'll say " Just remember that the next time you wanna f*ck me." LOL. I also have three children, my third is a newborn, and i'm a stay at home mom for now, so my other two are 5 and 3, and they are alot to handle, so i'm always yelling at them constantly, and my husband always complain for me to stop yelling at them, but he doesn't know how its like when you're with them 24/7. cause my husband sleeps all day and then gets up and go to work for third shift. But today he just got laid off, and my two boys were already getting on his nerves...LOL, so now he knows how i feel, cause he has to constantly yell at them, and it's only been a day...LOL.

It's late, he's tired, you're tired and you both know how to push each other's buttons. If this is a continual thing get some counseling, they might be able to let you see each other in a different light. Sometimes you both just need to love each other and work things out if both are willing.

No, you are defenitely not overreacting, what you should do is 'act' sick and let him look after the children for a week so that he can realize all the stuff we mothers have to do, for us it is a 24/7 JOB!
